One thing I crochet a lot of is baby booties, and having these inserts was so convenient for my projects! They were nicely for newborn to 18-month-old bootie patterns, though the ideal size (in other words, the perfect fit) was for 6 month old size booties. The 18-month old pattern was a little loose, though still doable. However, if you need these for anything bigger, or anything smaller (like premie booties), I donât think these will fit well.The plastic is strong and durable, easily holding its shape. Moreover, because they are open at the bottom, they easily slide into the bootie opening without stretching/warping it. The overall look is professional and neat, and an absolute must for any intermediate baby bootie crafters!
