Definitely needs lower support
Gate is convenient but our little guy quickly learned to crawl under it – while it offers the rings to lock the bottom down, they are completely impractical for regular use to open and close, not to mention the adhesive anchors damage the floor
Doesn’t last long
My 15 month old can climb right over it. It just clicks down and doesn’t even stop him. Maybe mine are defectiveâ¦

At 138″ this baby or dog retractable gate by the Fairy Baby Store company is hugely vertitle and I can’t get over how much of an advancement this is compared to the single-door hard plastic gates I’ve used in the past.I can now extract and expand this gate in any walkway no matter how large or small depending on my needs, and ensure that a child or pet has full visibility of the environment while still being prevented from entering it.The installation is easy, and it doesn’t take long to remove it and place it somewhere else. While it’s more of a semi-permenant install compared to the aforementioned old-style plastic gates, it’s not really something I plan to move very often.I can now block off any area without having to worry about measuring and purchasing the right gate â this one pulls and adjusts to the correct dimensions, and then clasps into place in a satisfying and aesthetically pleasing way that matches the decor and doesn’t look obtrusive but still puts safety first! Outstanding and hugely practical device.

Can’t go wrong
You can’t go wrong with this retractable gate it is durable and well made and it is perfect for a large space that you don’t want to have a giant gate blocking. You don’t have to walk over anything all you have to do is just attach or detach the door piece and it slides back into the original folder just make sure you supported each time you do that so that it doesn’t get tangled.
This was the most difficult stupid gate iâve ever used. it is most definitely not one handed and if you have baseboards forget about it. your cat can get in and out without the cat door because if you want it attached to the wall then itâs crooked and off the ground. if you try and open it with one hand itâs going to slingshot to the other side of the wall. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE BASEBOARDS, we will be returning this and just spending the extra money for a metal gate because this was worthless.
We have a Bassett Hound that thinks our cat is a toy for him to play with so this gate has came in great for our hallway. The gate on the front is perfect for the cat to fit through while being to small for the dog. Try as he might the dog has not been able to get through the gate it fits snug to the wall and so far has been very sturdy. I would definitely recommend this item.
This is an easy gate to use. The retractable feature is perfect for occasional use without it being in the way.
This has been really helpful at keeping my dog in the other room while guests are at the house. It was easy to install and easy to use. It also looks nice and not tacky. Easy to open and close.
This is a good quality gate. I like that it comes in grey (it seems like a lot of gates are either white or wood-colored), so I like that it doesn’t detract from my modern decor.
