Iodine is antibacterial and antiviral; makes sense to use in this day and age, if you know what I mean.I use it for nasal application when I go out to do shopping as the iodine does protect you for several hours.I have also used it on a tooth infection (gum area around tooth) that I was simultaneously treating with an antibiotic, as well as on an abrasion.Easy to throw in your pocket, bag, or purse. A few people have complained that they are hard to tear open. Not so. Once you get the hang of it, easy-peezy. There are a couple of brands out there, similar in price. My guess is that they are all made by the same manufacturer.ðð
