I purchased for overnight oats. Works perfectly and easy to clean.
We used these to hold sugar and they were nice and solid for that purpose. These glass jars could also be used for making pudding. All in all, these are a nice quality product with good lids and a convenient size. We recommend this product.
These “almost” 1 cup jars have a very secure/air tight cap but please see directions….they cannot be microwaved or put in the dishwasher (do not want to decrease effect of rubber sealer). I ordered these to keep my homegrown dried spices fresh and I think they will be perfect. I tested how much water will fit and filling jar just below rim was just below 1 cup so they will hold several things…salad dressing condiments etc.Impressed with how well they seal. I will use for dried items….spices, nuts etc. Solid jars!
I have NO CLUE how this happened. I left one of these containers in the sink overnight with some pineapple chunks in it, with the intention of emptying the fruit down the drain and putting the container in the dishwasher. I went to work, and came back at 6 the next morning. In that time, the lid somehow flew off at such a high rate of speed, I found it across the kitchen from the sink with the rubber gasket falling out. At the time I assumed one of my dogs had jumped on the counter and gotten into things. I also found a few items that I keep on the counter strewn across the floorâ¦â¦until this morning. I just HAPPENED to look up and see DENTS in my ceiling above the sink. I didnât check the camera until much later so nothing was saved. No one else was in my house and my biggest dog is a pug. I have no idea how this could happen other than pressure build up in the container. BLUF: these are cute but not at the expense of my ceiling. Donât buy them.
Sturdy set of glass jars. Both the lids and the jars are thick and have some nice weight to them so they seem to be well constructed. The jars are easy to open as well as easy to wash out and clean. I’ve been using them to store homemade butters and oil blends and so far these have been reliable as they do have a nice tight seal which has kept my butters well preserved. These do not have a silicone seal on the lids but I haven’t had any issues with leaks, and I prefer my jars not to have the silicone seals on the lids anyways since I find they eventually always mold or stain with time. Love this set of jars and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Now I just wish they made them in different sizes as I would consider buying more of them for different uses around the house.
