Easy to install
It is a good product. Served the purpose for me. The only issue was that it ripped easily.
Love that it’s pre-tapped! Makes it super easy to attach. If you want more staying power use tacs.
I bought this for a flat surface and a different one for edges and corners, and what a difference in ease of install it was! This one was 10x easier since there’s no tape to cut, or have itself pulled off as you are trying to take the 2nd side of tape off, or sticking to itself – none of that. It wasn’t the stickiest tape in the world (stuck to wood), but it works as intended and was super easy to apply. Literally 5 minutes to put the strip up, including cutting pieces out. To keep it from every moving or dropping over time, I put a couple of tacs in where they couldn’t be seen (it is very easy to do if you tac them it in the “valleys” of the ripple design).
Fantastic!
I have a 1 year old who climbs everyone and is super clumsy. These work great, I was surprised at how well they stuck, and a great price for the length! Will be buying more to finish the rest of the fireplace.
Not promising
My LO just started to crawl and was able to pull it off from the edge . The adhesive is not up to the mark.PS : baby 6.5 month old .
Good padding – Not so good adhesive
Put this around my stone fire place, for my baby who is crawling, the padding is good enough but unfortunately the adhesive is not sturdy, and my son can pull it off no problem. And it just doesnt stick back on once its been peeled.
Maybe not for brick
Personally bought this to cover the edge of our fireplace (brick) after the initial application, came down in the morning and it had popped off! My husband applied it the second time using more force and weight .. still lifts daily and we have to constantly push it back.
Great adhesion and flexibility
This product works well. It comes as a wide roll but it can be cut between the strands so you can have a section as 1 strand wide or four, etc. I happen to use it on plastic and it stuck really well, it will come off although you’ll need a little muscle power. I’d buy it again.
Sticks well /customizable
Best foam corner padding !! I use to cover corner edges on our brick pillar ( smooth surface ). Tape seems pretty good didnât need the gorilla taper after all . Customizable and able to easily cut for smaller corner etc…. ordered another thigh because itâs not as long or wide as it seems for the price you are paying more but itâs worth price of mind.
