Great clipper set
This is a very nice nail-clipper set. It comes with a large one (for toenails) and a smaller one (for fingernails), as well as a nice PU leather holding case. This set is perfect for travelling.The clippers themselves are nice and modern-lookingâlike something you would find in the bathroom of a high-end downtown condo! They are black, and the ends have circular indents, which I assume, although aesthetically pleasing, are meant for grip.As some of the other reviews have pointed out, I have not had any issues with sturdiness.They are sharp and cut cleanly.Overall, I’m pleased with them.
Looks nice but some concerns on sturdiness….
On the surface this 2 piece nail clipper set looks sleek and modern. The black body color, with exposed metal cutters, gives it a unique look. The metal looks sturdy and substantial. However, as a few other reviews already pointed out, the design of the center post looks like a weak point. In fact if you apply some pressure squeezing the clipper arms, like when you cut a big toe nail, it has a fair bit of bending. It doesn’t feel the most sturdy in this case. Additionally, as it is painted, when you rotate the top arm to close it, the arm gouges the paint of the lower arm, in a circle. I guess that’s the drawback of painted surface. Another issue is the nail clippers are a bit slippery! They don’t have any grip etched into it like some other nail clippers I own. For the most part they’re not going to slip out of your hands, but there’s going to be an occasion where it will happen. One bonus. You get a nice leather pouch to store the clippers. So nice to have!I ended up giving these clippers 4-stars. If it breaks or I have more issues with the center post, I will come back and update the review. For now, these clippers look good and cut well. As mentioned, they don’t feel the most sturdy especially when cutting the big toe nail. It feels like it is flexing and will break at some point. The paint looks nice but it’s already gouged. It’s also a bit slippery. So far I would still recommend these for the cutting performance!
Nice looking and functioning clipper set
These look unique in that they are a flat “carbon” black type set. They come with a little PU case that keeps them together. They are very sharp and both are good sizes. One is great for toes and the other for fingers. Cuts very clean. Noce product.
Poorly made
The nail clippers are poorly made, especially the hook part which holds on to the top arm. It comes off everytime you go to close the clipper after use. This is definitely a design issue since it is the same result on both the smaller and bigger clippers. Yes, it can be easily assembled back but I am not a fan of assembling it everytime I use it. Otherwise the clippers are sharp and is able to cut nails without any issues.

Nous nâavons quâun coupe-ongles à la maison (pour une famille de 4 personnes) et parfois, il nâest pas facile de remettre la main dessus: quelquâun oublie où il lâa mis après utilisation et on cherche pendant des jours. Je me suis dit quâil serait pratique dâen avoir quelques uns de rechange. Jâai eu lâopportunité de tester ceux-ci, ainsi quâun autre ensemble de la même compagnie STSINSEA.Entre les deux, ce duo est celui qui semble de la meilleure qualité! Du moins, c’était mon impression initiale. Tout d’abord, le métal noir est très chic. Lâavenir nous dira sâil va écailler à la longue, mais à la livraison, je les trouvais superbes. Ils sont offerts dans un petit étui de rangement pratique.Parlons de leur principal usage: comment se comportent-ils? Ils sont agréables en main, avec un bon poids. En matière dâefficacité, ils sont tranchants et coupent les ongles de manière nette, sans laisser de petits morceaux ou couches.PAR CONTRE: après quelques utilisations, le plus gros coupe-ongle s’est séparé en deux! Il a été possible de le remettre, mais je vois que le mécanisme est fragile et peut facilement refaire la même chose. Idem avec le plus petit.En résumé, malgré une première impression positive, je suis plutôt déçue de cet ensemble.
Nice silent clean cut, paint will chip and big space between thumb and index
Nailclippers are a nice stylish set with carrying case although to be fair they never make it back in the case so for me it’s not important. What is important is the cut and the ability to handle. It does give a nice clean cut and it does minimize flyaways but you do still get them. They are okay to handle. I find the distance of my fingers (thumb and index finger) to clamp down rather big. It is no where near as ergonomic as my current ones. I think it is a larger distance than it needs to be. However, the cut is a lot smoother and better and I did not slip. I know the paint won’t last very long and they will not look as nice as they do now but they do cut pretty smooth and I do hope that lasts.
Great travelling case
These nail clippers cut well. The case keeps them together and is easy to slip into any travel bag. The Metal of the clippers is coated in a matte black finish, which looks great. One thing to note about that is that is the natural oils from your fingers leave a print on the clippers. Really, the only thing about the clippers I don’t like much is the curve of the handle when its in the clipping position, there’s not much for your thumb to grip to when pressing down to clip, so there’s just a bit of slipping going on. Not much, but still worth a mention.
Super sharp and precise
My wife picked these out. They are absolutely super sharp nail cutters. They come in a nice black color and with their own little leather carrier which makes them feel very high-end. Their operation is where they shine. They easily cut through nail. You barely can tell that youâre even cutting through it. No hard snap or anything like that. This thing is so sharp. Itâs like a guillotine slicing the nail bits off very accurate and very sharp.Highly recommend these over a cheap pair from the drugstore or dollar store worse yet.Fantastic clippers in our opinion
