Really cleaning your drink bottles’ cracks and crevices
The majority of us are using reuseable bottles for everything from water to coffee and tea these days. We do our best to get them really clean but there are so many little crevices that traditional dishrags, sponges and brushes just cannot get into.The adorable little alligator-style bottle cleaners are so helpful for getting those drinking bottles really clean. Each cleaner has 3 cleaning tools. One is the teeth of the alligator which can be run around the twist section of bottle lids to get into the grooves. Another is the wire brush which is great for getting into the drinking spout or straw spout. The last is long brush which gets down into the sides of lids close to the rubber.All three brushes/teeth do a good job at getting into those spots that are hard to reach and important to clean. The wire brush and long brush fold into the body of the alligator. There is a hole so if you have a carabiner or fabric loop you can attach it to your drink bottle and carry it along with you. If you use the same bottle for multiple purposes like coffee in the morning and water in the afternoon then you know how important a good cleaning is.I use this brush at least twice a week to make sure my bottle lids and caps are not harbouring a lot of harmful dirt and bacteria in those crevices. At a modest $12.69 for 3, I feel it is an important cleaning tool for the most-used vessels in my home.
Cute but effective brush
I saw an ad for similar brushes and was surprised by how many parts of a water bottle can be missed with traditional cleaning brushes. I wanted to order this product to try it out. I love that this set includes 3 different brushes for thoroughly cleaning all the crevices of modern water bottles. It works just as advertisedâsmall and lightweight, but highly effective. Plus, its cute design is a plus!
Got this to clean the lids of our various thermos and cups. It is easy to use and the brushes are perfect. The small white brush is a bit more corse so I would be careful and not âgo to townâ on the lid. But it definiatly made cleaning the cups easier.Also, reminder to remove the rubbing ring on the lid (if itâs removable). Thatâs where mold could grow. Also, if you have a sip cup or a spin top, make sure you remove the rubber pieces and clean it. The long plastic tool is used to move those rubber rings.
