It can be mounted discreetly to the ceiling of placed prominently as an obvious deterrent to break ins. I like that I can use the app to look in on things when Iâm not at the store and I can see things quite clearly even if all the lights are off.It comes with two stickers warning people that theyâre under surveillance which are worth money all by themselves.It has a good radius and it seems to be able to actually move the camera with the app. Iâm not sure if this is just really good radius and design, but Iâm pretty sure that it physically moves up and down.Huge issues with traditional security cameras that this camera handles are: using the cloud to store data. This means that if someone steals or breaks the camera, all the footage has already been uploaded so the thief just stole a camera that they canât use but if they ever take it out, I can look through it and find out more information about the criminalThis also means it can hold a lot of data. No looping tapes/cards to worry aboutTwo-way talking, this is cool and useful for a lot of things. For my situation with a small business, it means I can keep an eye on things without being in the store. Itâs good for everyone because anyone who has questions can check in with me or the other app holders including the tech guy. Itâs very useful. In a crisis situation, I think that letting someone know that they have been seen, the police are on the way and you are documenting their crimes as they occur shows that the crime is out of their control and would be helpful in driving someone away before they do more damage.The wide view, intruder alert setting and infrared night setting all make it very versatileIt looks very modern and sleek. I love the design!Cons: it needs internet to run off of and upload to the cloud. If thereâs a power outage this could be a downside. Backup internet like a phone for a hotspot is a cheap and easy solution and a power bank can work as an emergencyâgeneratorâ if needed.Itâs also important to remember that this is an inside camera. It isnât protected from water or extremes in temperatures but there are some variations that are rated for outside.Needing power and internet are kind of obvious, some cameras do charge and I think this one has a battery, but Iâve always left it plugged in because I donât want to mess with the setup.I am extremely impressed with the value for my money, itâs a good camera for the price. It would be a lot more to get a whole security system and it is a lot like a security system.Depending on your situation, it is good to realize that this is a one room at most solution and you might want to think about how many you may need for the entire house and look at the outdoor version for outside too!The picture clarity is great ðð» light or dark and thereâs a lot of exploration to find all the things itâs capable of. Iâm still learning, itâs easy to learn but very cool technology ð
It works and it’s great for the price!
So let me start off by telling you that so far (the third day of use) it has been great!Yes it will not connect to 5G wifi however most wifis have both 5G and the 2g one. So all you have to do is disable the 5G, connect the camera with the 2g one and when it has been successful you can enable the 5G again, and yes the camera will stay connected to the other one while you yourself can still use the 5G internet.So if you know how to do that you can easily set up this camera.The night vision looks incredible, like the whole house could be dark with no lights and the night vision will show everything clearly. You can change the camera quality on its app from SD to HD or to FHD. Motion detection is good too you can turn it off or on just like the sound detection.You can also hear anything that happens in your device that is connected to camera and to talk through it too!And while I was away I could check on the house anytime with the app. It doesn’t matter where you are as long as your device and this camera is connected to the internet you are good to go!So I really recommend it!
Easy to setup, software works fine.
Camera works fine had issue with rotating and picture would get screwy and the only fix was to unplug thr unit. There has been about 3 software update and so far the rotation issue has been fixed. The night vision was also an issue if you had a wall closer in the view it would become extremely bright and the other half would be darker, rotating in a bit away fixed the issue. But Iam happy the software upgrades has fixed this as well. There is a one second lag on the camera. Sometime if you have prolong monitoring, it would freeze after a while and you have to return to the main page and select the camera again. Over the software upgrade it has become less, but its still happens. Overall, camera does the job and has been reliable with good picture quality both in colour and night vision.

The product works great; easy to connect to your phone and move the camera angle when needed. I can watch my dog with ease when not home. Good value

Update 6 months Review 360° View Pet Camera with Phone app, 2K Security Camera
Was enjoying the camera but now has stopped working completely. 6 months it lasted .. tried everything resetting, turn off, turn on, resetting manually. you name I have done it .. and it keeps repeating network abnormal and on the app is states the same thing. I even removed the device off the app to reinstall and now it states on the app device not found. So I guess it is a hardware malfunction. I guess working 24/7 it fails faster.Received the product, easy to install app to phone. Clear picture day and night vision is clear as well. For the price, the quality is not bad at all. Would buy another one to install in another room. You can add a SD card if you like, easy to install. I am not using the option to save video or upload to cloud, as I am only using it to monitor our new puppy. The motion sensor works really well and you can have it set up to send you an alert to view the movement. Would recommend this product to others.

Used it for 2 weeks now without big issue, this is the third camera I bought after 2 Wansview cams.The overall performance is similar like Wansview, clear image, good night vision, remote pan tilt function and motion detection with 30-60 seconds clips captured, longer than Wansview. The app design is really good, much better than Wansview. Also it comes with sound detection function, which Wansview doesn’t support. The Alexa function works for me, but the setup took me some time, also similar like Wansview cam, the streaming has 2-3 seconds delay in Echoshow, I guess this is related to my network speed, as it happens to all my cams.It has an extra feature compared to my old cam, when I turn it off, the camera lens will hide itself into the body, for total privacy mode. Also I can set a geofencing privacy mode, which means when my cellphone connects to same wifi with the camera, the camera will automatically go into privay mode.The only thing I didn’t like is, it doesn’t support 5G WiFi, I have a friend who are seeking for a 5G wifi cam, if this works, I can suggest this one to him, but anyway, it works fine for my router.I’m gonna buy their outdoor cam for my garden, hope the outdoor cam is as good as indoor cam.
Iâve been using this camera for 2 months now and I have nothing but praise for it. I originally got it since I was taking a 10 day trip to Hawaii and wanted to keep an eye on my house as there has been a recent uptick in breakins in my area. I placed the camera in my the corner of my living room and the wide angel is able to capture the entire room without using the pan and tilt.I use other cameras in my work place that include wyze, arlo, and eufy. Similar to the other cameras I use, the Laxihib accepts a memory card for you to store video footage. This was the most important feature for me as I did not want to pay monthly service fees.Hereâs a pros and cons list for the camera.Pros1. The video quality is sharp. Its only a 1080p camera but the video play back seems to be better than my wyze which is also 1080p.2. Night vision is suprisingly good. Its not as good as the arlo I have, but it edges out the eufy and wyze camera. The reach of the nightvision just seems to go further andy entire living room can be seen woth the lights off.3. The app is quick to respond to searches for video footage. I can finly quickly go through the recorded videos to find out which of my kids are starting the fights. Great bonus for parents!4. The pan and tilt is very quiet. I only have an old amcrest camera to compare this too, but that camera was quite noticable when panning and tilting.Cons1. The price is just on par with other cameras.2. The app could include a few more features. I would like to ise this at my work place and set program a time for alarm usage. Im able to do this with the wyze but the laxihub does not hve the feature.3. I wish there was a 2k or 4k version. Several other companies are coming out with higher res cameras. I hope laxihub comes out with one as well.Overall Im very happy with this camera as it works flawlessly and provides a great image quality. Iâve already recommended it to several friends who were looking for something inexpensive to keep an eye on there pets and kids. 2 thumbs up!
Setting up, getting app to âlocateâdevice was a headache. Took several weeks and many many hours to do the same steps over and over to get connection. Even when device said could not locate, I was getting alerts pop up on phone saying.. motion detected.. or whatever the message was. After getting out up and running. It looked like the red lights around camera engaged when I did not have app open.Does this mean someone was looking in on us and it was hacked?I need answers. It freaked me kids out so we unplugged it approximately, less that 24 hours from setting up.Attempted to change password but a code was supposed to be sent to my phone after requesting change, Another fail.. I still have not received a code, itâs been requested multiple times and over 24 hours since last request.I will say that the viewing of video on phone is great! Sound with 2 way is great. Zoom is good, night vision is great. Rotation was also good.I want to resolve the red dots around camera meaning and resetting/changing password.How do I know if we are being watched or system is hacked?
This camera has great night vision. I use it strictly as a baby cam so seeing them during the night is a top priority.When the camera suddenly stopped working I was really upset. One day it worked, the next it was a paperweight and it was outside of the return window.I contacted customer service via email and was told steps to take to try and remedy the problem. Unfortunately they all failed. But I was offered a brand new camera to replace the faulty one. It arrived in two days and is so far working perfectly.
Works great at first. Very bright if on the counter and night. Donât recommend. Will lose color about 6 months in. Good for basic viewing
