The sheep, and bear felt the same and could be described as soft. I like the sequins on the fish, the very soft long hair for the lion, and different textures for the frog, crocodile/alligator and zebra.

These are neat sensory mats. Most of them are soft materials. The quality definitely exceeded my expectations. They don’t look cheap or like they will fall apart easily. My baby likes them and I feel it provides a teaching opportunity. These are advertised for autistic children but babies, toddlers and younger children would probably like these too.
