Great montessori floorbed solution!
TLDR: I love this thing, was everything I needed, assembly was ok, and I am very satisfied with purchase :)We got a little summer folding bassinet to use full time but my daughter was born pretty big and quickly outgrew it. Her arms bumped the sides and she’d wake. We slept her on a reclining rocking chair while I found solutions. I did not want a crib due to how annoying, unhealthy, dangerous, and expensive they can be. I was searching for WEEKS for a floor bed (cause Montessori 💅) and couldn’t find one that didn’t completely keep the mattress on the floor – and they were ALL super pricey. I also hoped for portability cause we move a lot, and a smaller size than a twin due to low space at home. I was gonna make my own but I don’t have enough time or space to maneuver the diy, plus, wood is porous and can be a struggle to keep clean. After lots of searching I came upon this little cot and found it to be perfect! I think once she starts crawling she’ll be able to go in and out of it on her own, but that’s still a long ways, she’s just 3+ months.• At a glance: The surface looked like thick poly cloth on photos, but it’s actually a plastic mesh, which will be fantastic to easily clean accidents. Hygienic! The legs are heavy-duty quality thick plastic too, which I wasn’t expecting! I thought they would be crappy plastic and was pleasantly surprised. The legs also have well-rounded edges to prevent any cuts. The metal bars are well made and fit properly into the leg holes.• Assembly: When putting it together it’s a bit though to get the legs in, but it took me about 5 minutes of struggling to finally get them in, just requires a bit of strenght. You can also tilt the bars to they are easy to get in for step 3! And pushing the mesh away from the smaller first bar during assembly will make the last part where you stick the velcro in easier. I couldn’t get the velcro to match atop each other perfectly, there is about 1cm off, but I also didn’t do a perfect job with the pushing of the mesh, so consider that. It’s firm and sturdy and functional still. I may try to fix later.• Ups: It’s gonna be SUPER easy to clean, as no porous materials are present. Great for keeping it dust/bug free. We live in a basement which comes with more bugs and humidity, and this is great to avoid them and keep mattress ventilated.• Downs: It’s not exactly cute, but it will be hidden under mattress so it’s ok. The center of mesh will go down with the baby’s weight, so that has to be accounted if used with a mattress. There is NO mattress that will fit the cot size wise, and it is not meant to be used with one. I wish there was one I could purchase, but I am very crafty and plan to make my own with elastics to go around the legs and under the base for each corner – I already have the sheep wool and organic fabrics for it. In the meantime I am using the pillow-sized mattress I made for my daughter’s rocking chair, and it’s working just fine, albeit small, she slept on it for the first time tonight and it works well.

Bought 2 of these for my daycare. So far they seem to work well. it was a little tricky to assemble though. I needed a bit of assistance
