Minimal but a must-have
I backpack a lot and this is the perfect light pack to have the essentials for safety. I have my wilderness first aid and this kit is missing a lot of things that would be good to have but I feel like it is a great compromise if you are space and weight limited. Remember to get your first aid training and be safe out there because you will need to be able to use what you have in sticky situations. Get this if you do not currently bring any first aid out with you. Also look into how you can use this as your baseline and add specific things you want/need on the trail.
Didn’t need it but glad I had it.
Bought this for hiking on the Camino de Santiago. Added some blister bandaids but that was it. Light, has all the necessary items for minor immediate first aid and the watertight design gives you the reassurance that it will be okay if you need it. Small and light so no issue carrying it along in a knapsack
Peace of mind
I’m carrying the 0.5 kit on day hikes and it’s got enough to cover most things you might run into and it’s small and light. The only negative – which is minor – I’d that it’s a two bag system. The outer bag is a cordura material with zippers and the inner waterproof bag is essentially a slightly tougher ziploc bag. I’m not sure how well it would hold up to frequent opening and closing but since this is for emergencies only and I’m not boating it doesn’t worry me too much.

Many options for different activities
I really like those medical kits as they are inexpensive and the different models are well suited to a large range of activities. I like to have a medical kit in each of my bags so I am sure I have one with me every time I am doing an activity. I keep a .5 in my bicycle water bag, another .5 in my golf bag, a .7 in my hiking bag and a .9 in my emergency go-bag. There is always help relatively close-by where I bike, golf and hike so the intent is not to fix a major accident but rather have some supply to fix minor injuries and avoid having to postpone an activity or risk making a small injury worst. Fortunately, I did not had to use it on myself yet, but I shared few items with fellow hikers who happen to have blister and cut/scratches. As with any emergency supply, it’s all fun until we need it… !!

I put this in my work backpack. It is a nice size, has the basics.
Very lightweight, packed full of goodies, easy to add the odd item such as blister packs and paracetomol/anadin, waterproof, and very good quality. 5 stars should be difficult to attain, but I cannot fault this kit, high on quality, it really is spot on and comes highly recommended from me.
it contains every thing that ill need when im out doing activities. rock climbing, caving, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, camping etc it covers it all. i did add some additional plasters but that’s only because i always work in groups and having lots of plasters is a necessity. it looks good, feels good and i love the fact that its water tight also the addition of a tick remover was good because i didn’t have one.
This product is nicely put together and will serve its purpose very well for my son as he does his Duke of Edinburgh hikes. It is compact and lightweight.
