Very absorbent
These work amazing! In the end, I switched all of our babies inserts to these. They say dont bleach them, but I add bleach to my washer and have been for months and they hold up just fine. Super absorbent, wash well and dont smell after washing. No signs of wear after months either.
Charcoal super absorbent best insert
We asked for a sampling of cloth diapers for our baby shower since after having read a million reviews online I wasnât sure what would work best for our baby. We chose Best Bottom, Flip & Alvababy. I can say all the covers seem to work well, but the Alvababy 3 layer microfibre inserts were the worst and got soaked through the fastest compared to the Best Bottom & Flip inserts , so I ordered some Alvababy 5 layer charcoal inserts and they are the BEST. Better than all of the other inserts we have. Iâm ordering more now since they are so absorbent and I feel good about putting baby to bed with them as I know they actually seem to absorb wetness away from her and keep her comfortable and happy. They work with all the diaper covers we have. I donât understand the pocket part of the Alva diapers so we just place them on the outside and they stay put just fine.LOVE the bamboo. Whole point of this review is to say these are by FAR the best inserts.
Soft, absorbent and reduces smell
I got some with one of the packages of diapers. I got more because they were softer on my son’s skin and he wasn’t getting the friction rash he did on the others. I spray off and hand rinse them prior to my wash. They hold so much water, that the amount of urine they could hold is huge. Best part they don’t show stain like a white liner. When there is ð© it pulls the moisture out and thus reduces moisture on baby, and they smell is next to nothing. I do a 2-3 day wash cycle. Spray off solids, hand rinse until water runs clear and then 2 runs through the washer on cold, before drying.

Decent absorbency, definitely need to double and triple up for nap and bed times. The fabric pils which Iâm not a fan of

These inserts are great! They haven’t stained. I loved these inserts so much we ordered more of the charcoal bamboo. I use them for daytime use in a newborn blueberry Capri cover. Although they just fit in the cover. I have tried them in pocket diapers, it makes the diapers quite bulky.Edit: My baby is now almost 9 months old, and we use these inserts in ALL of our pocket diapers. They are well used, and hold alot of liquid. Now that she is a bit older, they don’t look so big in the diaper. In fact, they look pretty normal sized. We still love using these in our covers, like you would with flat or prefold.
They leak!
Based on reviews about microfiber inserts, and not being able to place them against baby’s skin, I upgraded to these from day 1. I started cloth diapering (during the day only) when my baby was 6 months. Two months later, these leak ALL THE TIME, even after 45 minutes! I just bought hemp ones as doublers, hoping it helps. I’m trying to do the right thing for the planet here, and as other parents know, cloth diapering is an investment. I’d rather not quit 2 months in and be out over $200 for the whole kit. Not happy with this company.

I ordered both the Charcoal set and 4-Layer Bamboo (White). The charcoal, by far, is much more absorbent and dries much quicker. I did have to prep them at least 6 times before using and only used them because I couldn’t wait any longer (I hung dry each time so the process took a bit longer). Both styles work well but I do generally use the charcoal in the morning as baby is a heavy wetter upon waking and I try to change every hour or so for the first 2 hours. Sometimes I can’t but she’s only leaked once in the first few days of using them and that was probably my fault. She hasn’t leaked at all since then. Definitely worth the price!
really happy with them
soft and very absorbent after a few washes. really happy with them, I would definitely recommend them . the only reason I gave it a low rating is because I order two packs of 12 and one pack only had 11inserts in it.
