My baby fussed for like 2 days and then naturally got used to drinking her milk from the straw. For context, I transitioned her to whole milk when she was 1yr and then transitioned to the straw for milk when she was 1yr & 2mo. I tried other straw cups for her milk and she refused and this worked great because she thinks itâs the same thing lol. Fit is great! No leaks and quality is also great.
I am so glad that I made decisions to purchased this straw sippy cup instead of my normal cotomoto with Y shape nipple, my baby he doesnât like most kind formula to drink, always take one hour or even more to finish a bottle around 180ml, he could take forever, we stay with cotomoto cup since he small, now he turn to one we think he always know how to use straw sippy water cup, so why not try this straw sippy cup for drinking milk, oh my gosh after I show to him, he sipped it and looked at me like this is new thing, he literally hold the bottle and drink by himself, otherwise we always need to hold the bottle to assist with him to finish the bottle, but it always took one hour or one half hour for him to finish, now he can walk around the house and holding the bottle with him and finish it half time saving, me and my husband feel so release at the moment! I have been having such a hard time finding a transition cup for my 11 month old. She doesnât want anything but her ComoTomo bottle! Yet she also does not want to lay back to drink anymore! I was so excited to find these and give them a try and I am not disappointed. It took her less than a day to figure out and she is now sucking her milk down like crazy, while sitting up. I would highly recommend to anyone else who finds themselves in my position! We bought the straw kits, so that is the only kit I can speak about, but so far we love them!
Itâs nice to think that we can continuously use a product as our baby grows, by purchasing additional accessories. Donât get me wrong, when trying to teach our child to use a straw, this product is nice to use as she is familiar with the como tomo bottle. However, I would not recommend this purchase solely because of the process you have to go through to clean the product. There are too many parts to clean, the tube is not great. (2 out of 1 of the silicon tube/straw was severely bent and I canât use it). And to wash it every time after using it is every time is a big hassle.
Returned. Tried to wean baby off bottles with this but didnât work.
