Horrible
I purchased three of these for a concert for my children. I paid $60 for all three and they do not work at all. I tried them all, complete garbage!
Good toy
Baby loved it. However, it would be advisable not to put very near eyes of a baby. The light being emmitted is very strong and can have potential risk on the eyesight of a baby. We use it to help with guiding with rolling over or crawling to reach. Toy is light , easy to use and ok to store. I bought this as this is the same one our physiotherapist use for her clients.
Horrible, donât waste your money
I donât know who made this cheap piece of plastic but it shouldnât be sold at all. It didnât light up, nor did it come with batteries. Returned it. Saw my sonâs occupational therapist had one of these so I had high hopes this would be a good dupe. No stars if I could.

I purchased this item to help my baby with rolling, it’s an item that is highly recommended by physical therapists and although more money than I was wanting to spend on such an item, I got it to assist in my baby’s development. Like other reviews said, it breaks easily. I didn’t think it would be a huge deal as I’d be holding it most of the time but it splits along the seam on the plastic round (orb) part. Yes I can tape it, but for the price I paid and in the short amount this happened, I would hope for more. There aren’t many options for items like this online and most are pricy as well. If you can find something similar elsewhere, for cheaper, I’d recommend that before getting this.
Do Not Buy!
This is by far the worse item I have ever purchased from Amazon. It is incredibly cheaply made, the batteries hardly fit in it and when you do manage to get the batteries in it, it does not work. Furthermore, the description says ready to go and comes with batteries. That is simply false and not true. Do not buy.

I gave 4 stars because it’s cheaply made. Feels cheap and looks cheap. It works though and babe loves it.
DO NOT BUY THIS TOY
Don’t buy this. It’s cheap, batteries hardly fit inside, and when you do manage to get them inside, nothing works. We tried the AAA and the AA and we tried them the right way and the wrong way. This was a big waste of money.
Got this for my 8m old daughter. It’s lasted two years later plus a 1 year old brother. It’s been dropped hundreds of times. Cracked, smacked, and then some. And somehow it’s only now stopped working. First the top half lights stopped, then the clear ball opened and no longer let the star spin. After a few days of that, it finally let go. Reordering with hope that the next will last as long.

I use this to entertain kids in a clinic. Has been a real hit and inspired friends/colleagues to buy one too. The kids love it. It is easy to switch on/off and wave around. Easy to replace the batteries when required. I just wish it was ever so slightly quieter when it is turned on, but given the mechanism of it, a little bit of spinning noise is not unexpected. (P.S. The children I show it to enjoy it much more than my cat in the video does)
