It would be much better if the baby unit would have a battery so it will not have to be connected to a wall power.To fix it just get a small battery bank and plug it to the baby’s unit .It takes Micro type connector.It is powerful on speakers and sensitive on the baby microphone. The parent unit must hold the unit close to the mouth when speaking to the baby unit in order to have a loud audio on the baby speaker (and of course press and hold the Talking button.The parent unit must release the talking button in order to hear the baby response.

I use this for my 90-year-old mother who lives across the house from me. We were having to scream multiple times repeatedly saying the same things over and over just to be heard and I was unable to hear her when she would call me and that was just not acceptable with this baby monitor. I can hear everything going on in her room. She can talk to me without having to push any buttons. She just talks. Iâm able to hear her and I can respond to her does not play into her unit and disturb her but I can hear everything going on in her room through her unit so itâs worked out perfectly
