Padded fun for my daughter!
I have recently added these foam playmats to my daughters play area and they are great, very soft and perfect to protect her from falls. You can tell that they are made of high quality materials and I highly recommend them to parents that are looking for mats that can be expanded if the area is larger than what these pads cover.
Smells chemically
It smells strongly of chemicals when I opened it up and wiped it with a paper towel, so I left it on the floor for few hours and the smell still didnât go away too much, for now using a blanket on top of the product but hopefully it goes away after few days.
Thick and good quality foam interlocking tiled mat
This foam play mat is made of 2x2ft interlocking foam tiles. The 17mm thickness of the EVA foam provides really good cushion and makes the mat great as a baby mat, playmat, or for your pets. You can also use to provide some cushioning on hard surfaces like a tile laundry room or in basement. The lighter pastel colouring of the tiles looks good and are a nice change to the black interlocking foam mats you can find in most hardware stores.
Inaccurate description
This is sold as a thickness of 2cm but it actually is only 1cm thick. Also, the pieces they send you don’t all align with respect to the shapes. Each bundle contains 4 pieces and they must be cut from different patterns because I can’t get the stars, moons, clouds to align.
Lifts at the corners
I was so happy with my purchase until after using it for 2 times and the edges (corners) started lifting up causing a trip hazard. Iâve tripped over it multiple times! I give 3 stars cause itâs doing what itâs supposed to do and the thickness is good if baby bumps head by accident.
Cheap quality
Very cheap quality for the price youâre paying. Also has an awful smell. Only bought because the size was 47â for a 47â playpen I have but it doesnât fit so returning it.
Garbage
Terrible quality. It rips when taking them apart and a few of the edges are all creased and squished. I do not recommend
