Quick and easy! Perfect for infants to slide in and out of. So cute too!
I bought the matching pink rabbit swaddler, flat mini blanket/pad and soft, squishy stuffed animal for my new granddaughter. They are all very soft and so adorable. This swaddle fits loosely, so be aware if you need a snug swaddler. Thereâs plenty of room for her to wear warm pjs and a tighter swaddling blanket underneath it. Or, just a diaper and t-shirt. She can wiggle a bit and doesnât get overheated, since thereâs air flow/exchange. She absolutely loves it. When she outgrows it, the blanket/pad becomes her new comfort object. That will then gradually transfer over to the stuffed animal when sheâs a toddler. I highly recommend this system and this swaddler.
One thing is for sure about GUND products – they really have softness down to a tee. This blanket is no different from the other GUND baby products I own where everything is luxuriously smooth and soft and oh so comforting. My son is a toddler now so he definitely won’t fit into this as a sack like it’s intended to be used, but I do like to wrap his feet up in it and toss the rest over his back as he sleeps since he curls up into a ball when he sleeps and sometimes his feet are cold. Keep in mind that the velcro is not super strong and if you intend to use this as a swaddle, I don’t think it’ll hold very well once your baby knows he/she has arms and legs and can break out.As with my other GUND products, I do NOT put this in the dryer. I ruined one blanket by putting it in the dryer and since then I haven’t dared to do anything other than air-dry after putting it in the wash. Another gripe of mine is that there were so many little plastic tabs holding the blanket to the packaging – it was excessive trying to get them all off while not losing the little pieces either within the fabric or on the floor.
Super soft, well made and worth getting this bigger one that can be used to lay baby on to change keep warm and swaddle as their growing.
