The Magic Sleepsuit is a patented swaddle transition product that helps transition babies from the swaddle by providing them with a cozy, secure feeling. The Magic Sleepsuit was created by a mother of four who is a pediatric physical therapist to improve the quality and duration of her babies’ sleep. The Magic Sleepsuit is designed for back sleeping in the bare crib only in a room at the recommended temperature for babies. The Magic Sleepsuit should not be used for co-sleeping, or with any sleep positioners.
The Magic Sleepsuit has a soft, breathable jersey cotton inner layer, a soft microfleece or cotton outer layer and a layer of polyfil in between for just enough comfort. The Magic Sleepsuit is designed to be introduced at approximately three months of age when babies are transitioning from the swaddle or smaller sleep space. Proper fit and timing of introduction are critical to the safety and effectiveness of the Magic Sleepsuit. Babies should be transitioned out of the Magic Sleepsuit when they roll over or try to roll over in it and are ready for more freedom of movement in their sleep.

PROPER FIT AND TIMING
Ideally, you should wait to begin using the Magic Sleepsuit until your baby is transitioning from the swaddle and fits properly into the Magic Sleepsuit. Proper fit of the Magic Sleepsuit is critical for its safety and effectiveness. When the Magic Sleepsuit fits properly, the scooped neck will lay flat on the baby’s chest, away from the face and baby should not have the ability to pull their arms and/or legs inside the Sleepsuit. . If the Sleepsuit is too big it will not provide the cozy, secure feeling necessary for sucess.

Just what we needed
Love this sleep suit for our daughter. She transitioned out of the swaddle to this at about 13 weeks. No issues and she sleeps great in it. She was 12lbs when she started wearing it and now sheâs 14lbs. I dread the day we have to switch to a sleep sac.

I wanted to wait a week before writing to know exactly how I felt about the magic sleep suit. We started using it right in the thick of the 4 month sleep regression. Like only napping while held and waking up every 30-60mins all night long. So we started slow with the suit and introduced it with naps first. First day, she could nap in her crib, for about 30 mins. By day 2, 40-75 min naps. All of them. In her crib. With minimal effort to put her to sleep. Now Iâve used it for 2 nights as well and weâre already getting 4 hour stretches.

Good material, bodice is a bit big but then not all babies are the same size. Cute design, helps baby stay comfy and warm, just not sure that it is worth the expensive cost. Pleased with product,just not sure of price!
Waste of money, my almost 4 month old already rolling in it!
Not worth it. It did seem to help my daughter stay asleep, but she is less than 4 months old and has already managed to roll in it (which is when you need to discontinue use). Itâs just a sleep crutch youâll eventually have to transition out of. I was hoping to at least get a couple of months to help her sleep until we could move her into a different room, but within less than a week of purchase we are unable to use it.Word of caution: donât buy. You never know how early your baby will roll in this thing, and you donât want to have to go through another hard transition. The size starts at 12lbs so we waited a while before being able to use it! (Baby was born 6lbs) save yourself the hassle and get them used to a regular sleep sack right away!
It was worth a try but didn’t work for our granddaughter.
We were able to return the item and got a refund for the amount we paid but not for shipping cost either way. We paid a lot for express shipping but it wasn’t worth it because it really didn’t speed delivery up very much. The seller in the return request info stated that we would be reimbursed for the cost of shipping it back to them but we didn’t get that. I think the idea of this item is good and we were excited to buy it (and pay almost as much for the express shipping) because one of the reviews sounded exactly like our daughter’s situation with her baby and she was getting desperate but I guess each baby is different.

Wonât get your money back
Bought this for my daughter and it didnât fit so I returned it. This was in march.. itâs now almost June and I havenât received a refund. Iâve contacted the seller numerous times and no reply. $80 is a lot to be out. I will never recommend this to anyone.
Game changer! My baby still has her reflexes that wake her up but started rolling over. She was terrible without the swaddle. She couldnât sleep- no one could sleep- she kept waking herself up with random arm and leg movements⦠enter: the magic suit! Worked immediately! Sheâs been a peaceful sleeper ever since. Took NO time at all to adjust to it. Itâs truly magical!
The sleepsuit is literal magic. My baby did ok at night for a while, but hit a sleep regression around 4 months and refused to sleep anywhere but our arms for 2 weeks straight. As soon as we tried this sleepsuit, she went back to sleeping in her bassinet with minimal crying. This product, along with a little bit of sleep training, has made a significant difference in how well she has been sleeping. She finally gave us her longest stretch yet of 7 hours last night! Thank you so much to whoever created this for getting us out of the 4 month sleep regression.
My baby does not nap during the day at all. Iâm lucky if I get a 20 minute nap to go wash bottles. I tried this originally as a more safe way to keep her warm. But because itâs a little heavy because of the cotton filling I think it mimics being held. Anytime I put this on my baby she falls asleep under 5 minutes every time. The first day I used it she napped over 3 hours. At night when I used it she slept 8.5 hours. Sheâs 3 months old. This was the best money ever spent and should definitely be a winter essential.
I really wanted this to work its magic on my baby like it did for others but it was not the case. My 12 week old is a very fussy baby and at times acts like a contortionist in her crib. All these movements make it hard for her to self soothe at times but once sheâs out, she sleeps pretty well at night. Although she wakes up every 4h, I still wanted that 6/7 hour magical stretch and canât seem to get it. Her sleeping schedule is exactly the same but with this suit I find it more difficult to change her diaper and burping is slightly more challenging which then sets me back from the easy bedtime transitions Iâve trained her for. Now, besides the suit not being âmagicalâ, it is very very comfy and I fear sheâd over heat but material is very cushiony yet breathable! Just a diaper and this suit in Florida weather seems to be comfortable. The suit is not weighted at all, just feels like baby is in a cloud basically. I will say my little one did not move around as much and was more calm by this suit but didnât make her sleep any longer. Not sure if Iâll keep or return but Iâm sad I didnât get the magical effect others swear by. Every baby truly is different !!
I have a 4 month old who ever since learned how to roll would not sleep on her back one bit……bought this item not only is she sound asleep in less than 5 mins but sound asleep on her back peacefully! Best thing ever don’t hesitate to buy!!!!
