We love this nail file! I was not sure if this was the right product when my wife initially ordered it. But after using the product I was amazed as how easy and hassel free it was to use. This file is amazing! The LED light is a really neat feature which helps us get a really close look at the nails while we are filing them. The newborn file pad is so gentle. Amazing product! I have a 1 yr old who would not let us cut nails out of her curiosity to see what are we doing. My wife wanted to buy electronic nail buffer so I started looking online and I found this one. It has good reviews and so far I am happy with it.ProsFailry easy and safe to use. Motor stops rotating when filing piece touches skin.My wife uses polishing piece, does the job well.ConsSeems flimsy at times due to the quality of plastic. Do not know how long it will last.I would recommend this product for infants and toddlers.
Amazing nail file for newborns!
I love this nail file! My husband and I are first time parents and our baby kept scratching up his own face with his nails. We tried using baby emery boards but they werenât working so we bought this product. This file is amazing! The LED light really helped me get a really close look at the nails while I was filing them and the newborn filing pad is very gentle and perfect for our baby. We were able to file his nails while he was asleep in only a few minutes. Amazing product!
Superior alternative to clippers and files!
My wife insisted on trying this. Our baby was always fighting us when we trimmed her nails and clippers would leave them sharp so she could scratch up her face. Using a nail file on her was nearly impossible so even though I was skeptical I decided to give it a try.The case and tool is a little flimsy but to my great surprise it works very well! Because of the low torque and soft bits they donât harm skin. However, it makes short work of our babies nails and leaves a nice dull edge so he canât scratch her face.Great purchase and highly recommended!
Great product!
I had tried using nail clippers before but was worried about cutting my little oneâs skin. This file is well worth the money. It is super easy to use and works great. I tried it on myself before using it on baby and it trimmed my nails and didnât hurt when it touched my skin. Very happy I purchased this!
Faulty, but too late to return
The unit I bought has faulty wiring. It wonât turn on when the battery cover is on. I have to keep the batteries exposed in order to use it, which is not great. I bought the mail file a few weeks before my baby was born and started using it after the return window has closed, so Iâll have to keep it. Also, the built-in light is useless. It gets blocked once you install the file disk, so itâs not actually the useful feature they advertise it as.

I wish this was out when my children were babies because it’s truly whisper quiet! It’s not just for babies though, it’s great for older children and adults. Also good for kids who have sensory issues!My son has autism and has always given me a hard time with cutting his nails. I tried this on him, and WOW, he did great!! He liked that I filed his nails versus cutting them, plus, it worked fast! He didn’t have that feeling you get after cutting nails. I love it mostly for that reason alone.I tried it on myself, and wow again! This is a great manicure set for adults and has everything you need to make your nails pretty. I love that it has a point polisher which works great for removing cuticles.The entire unit is amazing. I love that it has so many different grinding heads. It comes in a case so you can keep everything together and not worry about loosing anything. I was shocked at how quiet the motor is, you truly can’t hear it!The tool itself has a curve in it so it fits comfortably in your hand, no worries with it slipping out, and the light is a nice bonus. I would give this 10 stars if I could! Definitely money well spent.
This is a great products for parents to use on babies/children nails. I have been using it on my son since he has been â he is now 3months old. The only complaint I have is that I wish the attachments snapped into their respective spots instead of just rest in them. They always fall out of the circles and are loosely moving around in container
When my son was a month old, I tried to use clippers on his nails and nicked him. He was ok after 5 minutes but I was a nervous wreck for a few days and I felt so guilty for what I had done even though I did take precautionary steps like go slow and start when he was napping.With that said, I am so glad I found this product and ordered it when looking for a solution to prevent ever hurting him when cutting his nails again. These are easy to use, have a nice carrying case with different options from baby to even adult nail filing/trimming, and don’t cut skin. They do take some practice at mastering (cant just file down, have to move to mimic the nail shape) but at least I don’t accidentally hurt my kid!
My 2 granddaughters balk when I try to do their nails, when i visit them. So I sent this to their father. The 6 year old wouldn’t let him do her nails. I solved that by telling her to do her dad’s nails. At which she was delighted. She then let him do it, but she grabbed it from him and began to do her own nails. Of course it is a winner!Sure wish I had this years ago for my own children.
Great nail trimmer! Bought to use for baby. So much easier and faster than using a nail clipper and filing, my baby fell asleep while I was doing her nails.Edit: weâve been using the trimmer for 1 year and a few months now, it worked fantastic on baby fingernails, but now that sheâs 1+ year either the abrasive isnât coarse enough for the strength of toddler nails or the pad is just to worn but this is not as effective anymore. Though Iâd still recommend 10/10 for newborn to 1 year old.
