UPDATE #2: the battery to the monitor has swoll so much more and I havenât used it â¹ï¸ If anyone knows how I can email this company please let me know!UPDATE: Iâve had this for about 1.5 years give or take. ONE THING YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO is to leave it charging on the charger longer then you should. I always had it plugged in and now it only stays charged for a minute and then starts dying and shuts off. Also the battery swelled so much it is now dangerous to use. It probably was my fault for leaving it on the charger for too long, other then that I 100% recommend this product!This camera was a life saver for me. My old camera ran through my phone and when my wifi was spotty it would refresh, and when it did the sound would turn off. It got to the point I had to sleep on my floor right in front of my sons bedroom door so I could hear if he cried.This was like upgrading from a Ford to a TeslaPros: I absolutely LOVE that itâs not connected through wifi. You donât have to do anything special when you first get it to set it up, it just automatically connects. When you turn the volume up or down the background sound goes off in a couple seconds, instead of hearing the muffling sound in the background all night. The night vision is pretty good and picture is clear. You can zoom in, talk to your baby, and have it play lullabies.Cons: only thing I have to say negative about it is that the charge only lasts 4-6 hours. Which I donât mind because I always keep it plugged into the charger, but for other people that could be annoying. However once the battery is about to die it beeps until you plug it in, which I thought was cool, instead of it just dying. Also it says it can read the temperature of the room (it literally says it on the box) but I havenât seen anything about the temperature in the menu options.Overall I love this camera and am so glad I got it! Definitely worth the price!
I just got this as a cheap option for when my sister watches her at her house.The set up: extremely easy ! All I did was plug in the camera & turn on the monitor which was so exciting.The size is so cute & compact! Great for minimal parents or for travel. Like I said we use this one at my sister’s. I’ve attached it to her pack n play with a camera holder so we didn’t worry about wall mounting.The monitor itself is small which is kinda nice and easy to carry with you around the house.The picture quality isn’t the most high def or anything but I don’t see the need for anything like that especially because my daughter is already 10 months. Just need something to make sure we can hear her & see that she isn’t standing up or trying to climb out of her pack n play.I love the lullabies that are included. We have her portable sound machine which is loud enough but in a loud house the more background noise in there with her really helps her sleep. The lullabies aren’t that loud or anything but it’s something… there are multiple options or I just keep the loop going and it plays all of them simultaneously.Super happy with this purchase for the price. I definitely recommend.I’ve only used it for a couple days now so I will update about battery life and how everything holds up.
I gotta say, we love this one! Had it a few months, and we didnât expect the world..but if we did, we wouldnât have been disappointed.First thing I LOVE-You can leave the volume on a â1â or â2â level. The sound is kinda muffled, or sounds soft. BUT when your baby makes noises or gets fussy, it automatically sounds UP! Itâs crazy! AM amazing feature for when youâre sleeping, to not just hear their room sounds all night.Second thing- the night vision VS day vision, both were actually great. Super clear.Third thing- the battery life is BEYOND ANY MONITOR we have ever tried! (Which this is the 4th) Itâs on the charger next to our bed overnight while we sleep. Stays UNPLUGGED ALL DAY, even through the nap. And, when kids are down at night for an extra 90 minutes before we go to bed, itâs still usually at full battery.Love this monitor.
Honestly I got this on a great deal and even at the regular brace it’s so worth it. It does so much more than alot of the expensive baby cameras for half the price. I would say the one downside is that the battery doesn’t stay charge long enough so it would die if you were to try to use it All night without it being on hooked to the charger. It also takes a bit to charge once dead. I do say I love the fact that you can zoom in and turn the screen off and have it as an auto monitor and can turn the screen back on with any button. My favorite feature is it blocks out the background noise in case you have a baby or children like mine who like to listen to music to stay asleep. Super great. Plus it plays music and well but doesnt block that out, I’m assuming bc it comes from the camera itself ONLY taking a star off because of the battery life. I’d say 4.5 for the price
So my partner and I got this camera, because we wanted our 5 month old to start sleeping in her own room at night but still wanted to see and hear if she needed us, so far, so good. This is our second night and third day having it , and it works exactly how we prefer it to work. I heard her at 5am crying and woke straight up to go see what is going on. So the audio works absolutely great. The picture is great as well. We have a canopy net thing around her crib and we decided to put the camera behind that and still can see whatâs she is doing. I am scared of it not working anymore, so Iâm keeping my fingers crossed, if does stop working, Iâll let yâall know in a heartbeat.
