My husband had been wanting to purchase one of these foam playmats for our kids but we couldn’t find one that had the ends sealed. After finally finding this one we purchased it and are extremely pleased with this product. I’ve cleaned it multiple times and it’s fairly easy to do so. It’s also pretty fun and easy to assemble with the family. The quality of this playmat is surprisingly great and feels durable,given(we’ve only had it for 3weeks)Our LO’s love it! It’s a Must have in every child’s room.I am very pleased with the vivid and vibrant colors,theycompliment any child’s room!Also we didn’t have any issues with fumes as others have mentioned.Tip: if there are any fumes I suggest try cleaning the playmat with a diluted cleaner of your choice before assembling and try it out.ðOur toddler who is currently learning his ABC’s and Numbers makes great use of this mat he jumps on the number/letter and then pronounces the number/letter. Our youngest who is still learning to walk enjoys the vibrant colors and numbers and wants to be on the mat as much as possibleðOverall we are very pleased with this item and are even considering purchasing another one for their play area in living roomð
We got this for my nieces room. Itâs super cute and easy to put together. I love the colors and how theyâre not too bright. The quality is really good. I highly recommend this product.
This is the perfect foam playmat for a play room. They provide enough cushion to easily be on your knees playing with your kids and are nice for toddlers falling when still learning to walk. The squares are easily rearranged and can be a large 36 sqft space or built into cubes. This play mat is perfect for learning the alphabet as all the letters come out and you can practice matching the letters back together. We did not notice any fumes upon opening the package as others have noted. The mat is also easy to wipe down and clean up. The quality of the mat seems to be just as nice as the more expensive interlocking foam mats we use elsewhere in our home, but with the added bonus of letters and numbers to aid in learning. Overall we are very pleased with this item!
This is a very nice mat. It is colorful, easy to put together, and seems very durable. I have seen reports of an odor but mine didn’t have this issue at all. I have also seen negative reviews reporting the pieces don’t all fit together, all you have to do is trade them around a little and you will always get a good full fit for your rectangular mat.The cons of this mat for my needs were the removable pieces. Depending on what you are planning to use this for. The letters remove very easily, too easily for floor mat use and it becomes annoying quickly with a young baby using the mat for crawling practice. Also, some of the letters have smaller cut-outs that also come out. The small cutout in the A went right into my baby’s mouth and he gagged on it. I am returning the mat, but if I was using it for a toddler or to make the fun cubes or use more like a puzzle it would be a really great product.
I ordered this play mat for my nephew after reading several reviews on Amazon. The price was pretty reasonable compared to other play mats. There were a few things I took into consideration before purchasing (1) some reviews have mentioned regarding a smell coming from the mat. After opening the package, yes there was a smell but it wasn’t as bad as some of the reviews suggested it was. It’s been a few days now and the smell only comes if you put your nose against the floor on the mat otherwise its not like the entire room smells. Besides the odor the other issue some people commented about was the fitment, actually all the pieces so come together, you just have to put the correct border. Some of them overlap so you just need to remove that border and add the other one and everything will fit perfect. So far so good, I’m pleased with this purchase. It’s soft and easy to clean, very colorful. We love the letters and numbers too!
