I cannot wear spf without my skin breaking out or my eyes watering to the point where I can’t see (sensitive skin problems). This is one of the few spfs that I can actually use and keep re-applying as needed all day without any negative skin issues. It goes on smooth, absorbs quickly and doesnt leave a white trace or sticky residue behind. Highly recommend for anyone with sensitive skin!
Doesnât clog pores
Iâve used this sunscreen for years as an adult. I am quite resistant to using sunscreen because I hate the sticky feeling, pore clogging effect, and nasty smell but I often need to use it for dive days, snorkel days and tropical beach destinations. This particular one is great in that it doesnât have a strong smell, doesnât clog my pores even after reapplying multiple times in one outing, is water resistant for the beach and water sports, and protects from the sun well. It is also reef friendly which is a must for most of my sunscreen needs. The only downside is you need to apply early 20 min ahead of time otherwise it doesnât absorb into the skin and leaves a thick white layer. I usually apply 15-20 min before I go out, and in that time it will mostly absorb and even out so it doesnât look caked on by the time Iâm out the door. It also washes off well with soap/body wash and doesnât leave a grimy feeling after. Itâs not very sticky after it absorbs and is not that noticeable on my face and arms even though many sunscreens bother me when itâs on.
Stays long time but leaves white cast
I like itâs very water resistant and did not cause fungal acne, however, as a brown person I found the white cast it leaves is crazy. I wish they had other versions of this for brown/black folks.

Amazing
I read about all these expensive sunscreens for babies and I was debating what to get. I ended up buying this ans 2 other expensive ones for my baby for our trip to the Caribbean and out of the 3 this one was by far my most favorite. It was easy to absorb, didn’t leave a mess, and stayed on as protection the longest and did an amazing job. Not one burn on my baby and he was in the sun for 7 days all day long!!

Shocked how much I love this!
I have extremely sensitive skin prone to fungal acne and other nonsense. I usually stick to Japanese sunscreens and a special 60$ one I get at the derm. I cannot use anything else, period.Since I couldn’t get the one I usually buy and shipping from Japan has become temporarily impossible (you know why…), I dropped about $200 on different sunscreens to see if there’s an affordable one that would work. Fast forward to 2 months from then and my skin is an absolute MESS. Thanks to f.c.’s simpleskincarescience, I decided to give this one a try out of sheer desperation.It’s very thick, as you’d expect from a mineral sunscreen, and has a noticeable white cast. But I’m incredibly pale and for me it has a brightening and pore-minimizing effect that I didn’t expect. It sort of evens out my skin and dries fairly matte (though you may need to pat it in and use a tissue/oil-blotting pads). It sits under makeup and primer (Primavesta) but I can wear it without makeup too because it looks like skin. It absorbs well, but don’t expect it to absorbs completely. It’s still a bit waxy, but not oily. Best of all, I don’t think it will break anyone out or affect sensitive skin in a negative way. It would feed malassezia, and I highly recommend it. It’s a win!
