I love the fact that I can feel safer with my puppy on our 2nd floor deck. Once it was installed it is very strong and definitely keep puppy back from the edge. Only 2 negative: 1st is you will need 2 or more people to install and 2nd is they only send smaller zip ties. So I had to purchase the extra large one to go around the bigger post.
I have two kittens who love playing on the deck which is about 10 feet off the ground. One actually jumped down onto the grass twice. I live on a wild green belt with coyotes so I definitely don’t want either of them outside. I installed this (very easy except don’t bother with the sticky ties, they just pop up in wind, etc.) It works, he is no longer jumping off.
