I’ve been trying to get my spouse to think “outside the box” when it comes to storage solutions. We live in a very small house so it’s kind of necessary. We currently use a stainless steel cat litter tray for storing our plastics (don’t worry, it was never used for cat litter once we saw it was too small), a baby bathtub for bathing our cats, etc. So when they said they wanted this, I didn’t even ask why. Perhaps I should have. Just joking, it’s all good.My spouse wanted this for pantry or broom closet storage. But, if you planned to buy it to use as a bathtub toy storage, it could work for that too! This thing is really good quality and is a lot thicker and heavier than I expected. Even the mesh part is thick and durable. The rubber parts are thick rubber and very good quality. And the bottom is mesh like the sides, so wet toys will quickly drip off.In our case it’s going to be used either in the new pantry or the new broom closet after our reno. Being mesh all around it would be great for things like potatoes or onions but would also be ideal in the broom closet for all my extra vacuum pieces and parts. Odds are the broom closet is going to win.This is a neat, biggish, storage basket and I hope that other people will find it as versatile and useful as we do. 5 stars!
