My 22mo has a great time on this dinosaur and even the older 8 and 8 year olds have bene spotted hopping around the living room. The dinosaur arrives mostly deflated in a box and is easily pumped up to useable pressures with the included hand pump. It seems like takes a minute to get things started, but once you see it inflating it finishes up quickly. Plugging the hole with the included stopper works well, even if the adult in me worries some that it is pretty long and seems unnecessarily pointy. The worrier in me wonders what would happen if the Dino were to rapidly deflate (say a bigger kid lands too hard), but I think the Dino skin is actually thick enough to stop it from poking anyone in the seat.The Dino has “ears” to hold onto, but the narrow base means it takes a little getting used to to stay on top so maybe try it out first indoors or on a soft surface and there will be both sideways and backwards tumbles with little ones.
After 9 months my child still loves this toy. I recommend anyone who wants to buy one.Just a heads up. When airing up the bounce toy you have to really push air in to keep the you tough and not wrinkly looking. You have to push hard and then very quickly put the cap on. It’s easy to do. But if you can’t do it. Ask for help.
We attended a birthday party and a tumble gym and our twins absolutely loved the little bouncy toys they had so I immediately went in search for the best deal I could find knowing we needed 2. These were a great price, came quickly and were easy to blow up and have stayed blown up! They are very sturdy, we even turn them into horses and ride around the house. Whenever we need a quick distraction we ask the girls if they want to bounce and they go right over and get in there dinosaurâs. We also used them to help learn eyes nose mouth and ears! Would highly recommend.
