First of all my mattress is already water proof, sealy posturepedic brand covered with vynil. My baby sweats because of the material and i donât like the sound it makes when he moves. So i searched amazon for a good mattress cover and came across this brand.. No reviews so here goes to help future buyers…It is…1- water proof all sides even on the garter side2- breathable top material, it feels cooler than the mattress alone.3- very quiet.4- it is lightly padded but just right, it wonât lose the purpose of having a firm posturepedic mattress. It feels great to touch5- i love the material used it looks high quality at the back.6- it can fit on thicker crib mattresses. Mine is 5inches thick. As seen on photos i used mattress stretcher i found at home just because i donât want it to move when i replace sheets.When taken out of bag i thought i would return it because i Thought i wanted thick padded mattress protector. But when tried on the crib bed it is just perfect!
Great mattress protector
Fits a standard size mattress, thick and definitely protects the mattress. Been using for about 18 months and bought a 2nd because it’s a good product and wanted a 2nd one on hand. Holds up well in the washing machine.Would buy again.
Works great, durable in the washer/drier
I also bought a regular mattress protector from the same brand, and it’s worth it to spring for the more expensive bamboo. It has endured many accidents, spills and washes since we got it last month, and so far there’s no signs of melting in the drier or coming apart. Good quality thus far. It’s very absorbent and soft, without being too thick. Fits a toddler bed with a standard crib mattress perfectly.

I waited to write a review until my son was born – he had a big pee in his crib and the sheet and this protector were soaked but the mattress underneath was completely dry.

Soft for Baby!
I can’t comment on the water resistance yet.What I can say is that I was looking for something to make baby more comfortable for sleeping. This gave the perfect added layer of ‘cushiness’ I was looking for. Fabulous under the sheets and baby slept amazing! Great buy!
