Works well and so easy to use
Looks and feels well made. Magnet is strong. Has 2 levels of brightness and volume for the alarm when it goes off. Very easy to use and read. We’ve put ours on the stove cause it’s much easier to set than the built in one. Would recommend!
Very clicky
Very clicky, which is a good thing, as it gives you good feedback as you set the timer. I find it works best for me with half brightness, and half volume. The lower volume setting can still be heard if I need to step away from the kitchen and does not trigger my dog who normally goes into high alert when she hears beeps. I like that it also comes with batteries! Some timers do not. I took off a start as it’s not exactly intuitive on how to quickly reset it to zero and sometimes it doesn’t switch to the seconds when I set it. These of course are probably user errors (mine) so I still recommend it as it’s a nice timer in the kitchen or at your desk to stay productive.
Simple and versatile
Im very pleased with this timer. On the surface it’s a very simple device but the amount of little extra features are what really put it over the top for me, and those include:Magnetic – I can keep it stuck to the outside of my oven or on my range hood when using the stove. Or just place it on the fridge on silent mode if I need to chill something for a minimum of x minutes.Stopwatch – I didn’t even realize when I first unboxed it that it can also count upwards as well. It’s not something that you need every day in the kitchen but its great for keeping track of how long it takes to prepare certain things or timing a defrost.Volume – You dont always need or want your timer to sound like an air raid siren when the time is up, sometimes you just need to make sure a minimum amount of time has passed so you can simply turn off the alarm for when time is up.AAA batteries – This might sound like a downside but I much prefer real old school batteries for a device like this. With three AAA batteries and an auto-sleep mode this device will likely stay active for months before needing to replace the batteries. USB rechargeable devices are handy in the kitchen but its nice to not have to worry about recharging everything all the time.Dial controls – I’ve used many kitchen timers over the years but the fact that you can set precise times all the way down to 5 second intervals by rotating the timer is very handy, especially when your hands are a bit messy and you can’t get a good grip on a smaller knob or tiny buttons.All these add up to a really good kitchen timer. 5 stars!

There are light and sound switches on the back, and the back side has a non-slip grip and is magnetic. The instructions are tiny though, as I had to use a magnifying glass to read them.The timer is easy to use once you understand it. When the timer is at zero, you have the choice of going up or down. If you want to count up, just press anywhere on the bottom part of the front, not necessarily where the circle is. If you want to set a timer, just turn the dial to set it, then press the front to start / pause / restart / stop. To reset the timer, long-press the front button to get back to zero.The timer can operate from 99 minutes 55 seconds to zero, or count up from 0 to 99 minutes 55 seconds. Great timer – countdown and count up (stopwatch function)
I really like how this timer looks and feels, it has a large display with the countdown numbers crisp and clear. You turn it quickly to adjust the minutes, and then slower for the seconds, making time setting a breeze up to 99 minutes. Much better than the traditional ones where you have to press once per minute plus a beep every time you press it. There are 3 volume settings – mute, not that loud, and louder; and display brightness – 2 options – bright or dim. The bright and dim is actually how the display is after the counter starts, in the beginning both settings are the same – when you set the timer, both are at high brightness, but if you select dim, then after 5 seconds, the numbers will go to low brightness; then if you selected bright, it will remain bright for the entire duration. The display turns off when not in use to save batteries.It has 2 rubber strips on the bottom so you can set it down without having it slide around, and it has a strong magnet so you can put it on the fridge or cabinet, etc.. I think it’s great as a personal fitness timer, or in the kitchen as a cooking timer. I usually just grab it from the fridge when I do timed workouts. Very handy and easy to set.The only improvement I would make to this device is making it rechargeable. Right now, it utilizes 3AAA, I did use rechargeable ones, but if it was built in, it would be better, but likely would jack up the price.
I recently purchased this BlueSnail Kitchen Timer, and it works great! Instructions are not required- I just put the batteries in, adjusted the timer by rotating the ring, and then pushed the button. It was extremely simple. In addition, guncolor matches my refrigerator well. Love it!

This is a great little timer and does a great job. Love the magnetic base, which means I can attach it to the side of the hob securely. The noise level is spot on and I can hear it from our livingroom.
