Great Features and Affordable Price
Pros:Installation Made Easy: Setting up the device was a breeze, and the clear instructions made it a hassle-free experience.Budget-Friendly Gem: The price of this camera pleasantly surprised me, considering the quality it delivers. It’s an excellent option for those on a budget who don’t want to compromise on performance.Seamless Remote Communication: The remote communication feature is a game-changer. I can stay connected to my home or office from anywhere, giving me peace of mind and the ability to monitor activities in real-time.User-Friendly Image Rotation: The camera offers an option to rotate the image so you can install it upside down.Convenient Camera Power Control: There is an option to turn off the camera at any timeLook: Awesome designCons:Improved Navigation Needed: While the camera offers a 360-degree view, navigating all directions through the app can be a bit challenging. The round button for changing the camera’s direction doesn’t feel intuitive and could use some improvement. I hope to see a more user-friendly control mechanism in future updates.Privacy Feature Needed: Since it’s primarily used indoors and captures footage of family members, it would be beneficial to have an option to blur their bodies or faces. This feature would enhance privacy protection and make users more comfortable with using the camera inside their homes.Overall, this camera boasts great features at an affordable price, making it a solid choice for anyone seeking an easy-to-use surveillance solution. With some tweaks to the app’s navigation, it would undoubtedly become an even more exceptional product.
tbh so far so good
no complaints, does what it’s supposed to do. I like the night vision, it’s actually really clear. Voice function works well, sounds clear. Wish there was a function for it to not turn to a certain section because it keeps going to the wall.
Reliable
Purchased many cameras over past year and these are surely the most reliable one so far in terms on sensitivity accuracy, picture quality, functionality and easy of use.Only negative point is the recording of .raw format on sd card making it hard to read videos
Awful
I purchased these to monitor my new kittens at home while I was about and about so I wouldnât be stressed. These cameras never worked and would rotate so poorly and get stuck. And when they did work the connection was bad and would be so slow and delayed. I would be out and about trying to check on the kittens and I couldnât see them at all because the cameras would be stuck turned down or sideways or up or connection wouldnât work (I have the best internet service so itâs not my internet) and so Iâd be anxious and stressed the entire time and wanting to get back home which defeated the purpose of why I got them. I do not recommend.
Got cameras to keep an eye on my dog
Highly recommend, pretty straightforward for set up, pretty good resolution quality! Great for keeping an eye on my dog while Iâm at work! Gives me comfort that I can check on him! Get alerts when thereâs movements. Option to turn off notifications. Affordable, and comes with two. Option to talk through cameras as well, but havenât tried as I donât want to freak my dog out lol.
Great product
I bought these cameras so I could keep an eye on my kids while out of the house or even to keep the kids from being silly and they work great.I have 5 cameras and bought 3 more for some other areas.Definitely a must have 🙂
Unreliable quality
I bought a set of two cameras, and one of them often disconnected from the Wi-Fi while in use, and then I had to disconnect the power cord and reconnect the Wi-Fi, which was very unstable.
A camera that mostly works
EDITED The camera app has returned to being able to view recent short clips. I’ve had this for four months and several days ago they removed the ability to view the locally stored short clips of video and asked for a subscription. Since then the service was restored but by then the clip I needed was already gone. The camera itself works as advertised, but the whole system depends on the internet hosted app……
Works fine for the price, but needs a micro sd card to record. It took a minute to find the card slot. you have to tilt the camera all the way up to reveal the slot for the card.
This was my first purchase of a pet camera and I’m impressed, good quality picture and easy set up. I like the fact that it works with or without a app subscription.
This camera is actually high quality. We got it since we just started leaving out one of our dogs with the other one. We can speak to them through it! Would purchase again!
Set up was very easy, picture quality is very good, and app is easy to navigate. We bought these because we’ll be on a family trip and wanted to keep an eye on our home. Will be keeping them up after we return.
So this is my second attempt at a camera that will work reliably to monitor my dog. I have a very specific use case, in that during a certain period of the day, I need the camera to be on and to alert me any time my dog awakes. All the other hours of the day the camera will be off. I have a camera now, but it does not reliably alert me when my dog wakes up and moves (and then there’s accidents that have to be cleaned up) so it is imperative to me that the camera alerts work reliably all the time. Unfortunately my current camera does not alert reliably, so I figured I’d try out this Blurams camera.Unfortunately this camera is even worse than my existing one in that it misses alerts that my other camera catches. I tested them side by side and the other camera alerted much more reliably. Yes, I have the software configured properly but this Blurams camera does not reliably alert when there is motion. And I noticed when watching in live view that there is a 2-3 second delay in seeing on the app the activity that is actually happening in front of the camera. When you’re talking about a dog who gets up and immediately needs to be let outside, that kind of delay matters. Maybe other people’s use cases are different and that kind of delay is acceptable but it’s not for me. And the lack of reliable alerts is a deal breaker.I can use this camera elsewhere, where I don’t need alerts, but the hunt continues for a camera that can reliably let me know when my pet is moving. For everyone else, this is probably a fine camera for basic needs. The software is nice and let’s you schedule periods where the camera automatically turns on and off, and you can also schedule alert periods which is nice (assuming the alerts ever actually work). You can sign up for all sorts of extra (paid) services through Bluram but I didn’t research those since the basic camera functions don’t work for me. I did find it difficult to figure out how to share this camera with family members. There is a share button, and it asks for a family group name, but I was unable to figure out how to actually setup these family groups, and I honestly didn’t look into it too hard because I will still be on the search for a better camera. If family sharing is important to you, it may be tricky to figure out. I also found the PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) feature to be awkward. On my other camera it’s very intuitive but on this one, there’s a delay in the camera moving making it difficult to focus the camera on a precise location without going back and forth a few dozen times before getting it right.
