This review is for Bokefenuo MoYu Meilong Polaris Speed Cube (57mm) Moyu MeiLong Polaris Mofang jiaoshi Stickerless Magic Puzzle Cube, $13.99Pros:- appears to be good quality; sort of speed cube- easy to start but not easy to solve- quite a good brain exercise toyCons:- the instruction says “In order to scramble it completely, you must turn each corner by 60°, this unlocks the skewb mechanism underneath.” but I feel it should be 45°, not 60°- lots of lots of room for improvement on workmanship – after you move the parts several times, they are not perfectly aligned anymoreOverall, this is a fun toy and I really like it. I gave it a 5-star as it’s worth trying if you are into the cubing toys
I don’t like this cube
At first glance, the cube appears to look really cool. I brought it to my classroom for my students and they all saw it and immediately wanted to try it.I tried it first and I was not able to unscramble it. Basically I could only move each corner piece one way and I had no idea what to do to mixed them up more. I tried and tried but no luck. Then a few of my students tried and they couldn’t unscramble it either. They got bored of it veru quickly.Now I just went back to look at the description and it says that each corner piece has to be rotated 60 degrees. I’m going to back to school tomorrow and try it again now that I know what to do, but the fact is that it shouldn’t be that complicated to figure out. I do wish I would have seen those instructions before hand because I felt very stupid not knowing how to use it, and I knew that there was a way to do it, just no idea what that way was.
