Beware: Mini blocks
When I saw ‘mini’ in the title I thought it meant the build was small. Not that the blocks were microscopic. And I do mean microscopic. This flower has a bunch of 1×1 blocks that are the size of half a grain of rice. Building this is quite complicated, specially with adult hands, and very delicate as things like a whole leaf balances on a single block.The final look is very cute. And I was able to follow the instructions despite how cramped the space is in the pot… so there is that. But my hands still ache hours later.
What I liked most about this sunflower decor was the strong, sturdy bases that were made completely out of building blocks and the attention to the smallest details. I also liked the combination of the sunflowers mixed in with the smaller daisy; it gave a great accent combination. I appreciated how well the blocks attached together and that they held their position throughout the building process. I also liked how well the coloration of the flowers popped as the parts started to take shape. The instructional guide did a great job of outlining the correct building procedures and also showed each illustration in vibrant color to match the actual blocks. Overall, this is a quality building set made of durable blocks. This is a great value for the money, and I am pleased with my selection.
I bought this for a friend as a birthday gift and she absolutely loved it! Her favorite flowers are sunflowers and I knew this set would be perfect for her. It was affordable, sturdy, and miniature in size! She really appreciated how I found a small flower building set because her apartment doesn’t have too much space to put large decor. This could sit on her desk without taking up too much space. She had a fantastic time building this and the colors on the flower were just so cute!
