Amazing
The price was super affordable, I wasn’t expecting much for it, and it surprised me. I already want more to put in other rooms in my house. It has infrared, it has voice, I can talk and everyone can hear me through the camera.You can buy it without fear, you won’t regret it!
Works as well as most, but with a smaller profile against the wall.
I won’t lie that the reason I got it was because of its relatively flat profile against the wall; and the fact that the power cord comes out of the bottom makes it so much easier to hide. Doesn’t come with the adapter though so you need to supply that yourself, as well as the microSD card – WHICH fits into a very well hidden slot on the side. From a distance, you wouldn’t even know it’s there.Interestingly enough, the mount also doesn’t come with the screws so that’s another consideration. But the app works just fine, and although the settings aren’t quite as robust as some of the other security apps I’ve used, the main features are still there. FHD resolution is GOOD but I’d say it’s closer to a standard 1080p, like most other small cams I’ve tested. Frame rate isn’t spectacular either, but it’s also not bad and very watchable. The 2-way sound kinda sucks and lags of course – par for the course even with great routers – but at least the night vision works! It’s not a PTZ camera so you can’t control the lens remotely; but for something so small, that’s exactly what you want. After the initial image setup, it’s basically a set-it-and-forget-it kind of deal.Storage on my 64Gb card has been good so far, but I’ve honestly not had to use it as much as the other cams on my dedicated network that use another app. Compared to those, this one falls just a tiny bit short. Not by much though, especially in terms of image quality. Quite surprised at how good it is for something so affordable actually. Would’ve been nice if they provided an adapter though. 3.5/5 stars from me.
Great price & Works Great
The camera was priced at a lower price than most here, and we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and function of the camera. The picture is great, the two way audio works great too. Extremely easy to set up as well. Would definitely recommend this one.

Video quality is great given the low price of this camera. However it has disconnected itself twice in 12 hours, I repositioned the power cable so Iâm hoping that was the issue and not that the camera itself wonât stay connected to my wifi. Two way audio works, but barely. You basically have to yell into your phone/device your connecting through for it to pick you up without sounding like you are muting and unmuting the microphone as you talk. As long as it stays connected to my wifi, this camera is absolutely worth the money.

La qualité video est bonne mais elle ne s arrêt pas de ce déconnecté tout le temps . J’ai débranché, retranché et changer de câble rien n’y fait elle déconnecte toujours tout les jours à heur variable et j’ai verifier j’ai meme placer une autre camera à coter pour possiblement un problème de wifi ,mais elle va bien quand l’autre ce déconnecte peu-etre un problème autre .

This indoor security camera is good for checking my dogs when left alone. Installation requires an app, which my techy-knowledgeable daughter set up. The motion tracking works well, and the audio is a handy feature. It records and sends notifications. Comes with a USB cable, and the resolution is clear. Reasonably priced.
It is hard to imagine a camera with this resolution and clarity of video, in day or night mode, for this price. The phone app has a whole raft of options regarding the interface to allow most users the particular functionality they desire out of the camera.Camera setup is not difficult as long as you follow the instructions and even if it does take a bit to complete, itâs worth the wait.The camera is able to maintain color video to a far lower ambient light level than several of my other cameras which is really a big plus. This is especially true if you are recording through a window where the infra red will reflect back and obscure the video.The recorded timeline is hash marked at each hour with the time in 24 hour format, with just a short dash at the half hour. This is disappointing in that motion events are not discernible anywhere in the timeline.Another problem is the lack of high speed scrubbing, or viewing the video at faster than normal speed. Youâll need to go back to the notifications, if you set that, to get a rough time of when some event occurred. This is time consuming and awkward, so improvements in playback could definitely be made here.This camera can be recommended because of its price point and video quality but looses a star for the short power cord and the lack of quick location of events on the timeline.
I use this to monitor my living room at night to see which of my cats are getting in to our plants.Nightvision:The night vision works very well. While everything is black and white while using night vision, everything is quite clear.Picture Quality:Picture quality is good and quite clear. It’s a large enough format so that you can zoom in quite close if something is across the room from the camera.Build Quality:This is the only downside – while the build quality does seem appropriate for the pricepoint, there are some annoyances. The unit is so light that even its power cable can easily move the camera if wind blows it or somebody brushes by. The micro SD card slow doesn’t easily take in the cards either. You have to use your nail and really push in the card (Micro SD Card not included).Software:The BoyKeep software is…a bit wonky, but it works. There are a bunch of autodetect functions that only work with a paid subscription, but the movement detection works without a subscription and it’s pretty good. I have it set to record only when movement is detected, but sometimes I find it only starts recording when the cat is already on top of the cabinet. I find that’s a bit flawed.
I wanted a basic camera to see my cats when I am away and the BoyKeep 2K Indoor Camera. I can even say hi to them! The camera was easy to set up and the overall clarity of the picture is good – especially for the cost. I do wish it had better mounting capabilities. I have’t paid for the motion detection but they do offer one month free of cloud capabilities which include motion. Overall, this isn’t a fancy camera, but I’m impressed how well it works.(*Photos are 1) late afternoon with the shades open, 2) late afternoon with the shades closed, 3) Night with cat on bed!)
I’m pretty pleased with this indoor security camera. For the last few years, I’ve used a Hubble camera but coincidentally it quit pairing to my network at the same time Hubble started charging a fee for some basic services. Enter BoyKeep! Both the camera and the phone app compare very favorably to my 5 year old Hubble. The picture is brighter and sharper and the phone and app have more features.Setup and pairing of camera and phone app and wi-fi network was well documented in a little brochure and was pretty simple. For some reason, though, after the first time I powered off the camera I could not get it to re-connect to my wi-fi. I had to “remove device” from the phone app and start over by adding a “new device” and going through the steps again. But now it seems to be able to automatically reconnect after loss of power.The USB power cable has the older little trapezoid connection (USB-B?). The charging brick is included but the supplied cable is only 3 feet long, so be prepared to use an extension cord for your camera location.There is nothing in the way of instructions on using the app and the various camera features, so you just have to explore and experiment to figure things out. I installed a 64GB micro SD memory card and video is recorded to that card instead of the the cloud. (Recording to the cloud requires a paid subscription.) I’m still learning the different features, but so far I’m happy with all the basic functions: motion detection, picture quality, notifications on my phone, live video, viewing recorded video, remote camera power-on/power-off, turn off camera light so it’s less noticeable, etc.So if you want a decent indoor security camera, want to watch your kids, monitor your pets, or keep boys, BoyKeep is a good choice.
Awesome dog camera easy to setup. The sound quality is okay, this camera performs as described. The camera has good quality video and was easy to connect.
