Okay, I have a lot to say.So, I’m not sure what I expected when I opened the box but it wasn’t this…and I’m not mad about it! I bought in a whim so honestly I didn’t even read what I was buying I just looked at the picture, said “that looks good enough to me,” and clicked buy lol. First off the material of the swaddle wraps really caught me off guard, that I assumed immidately I’d send them back. And I did wondered if they’d be too hot because they feel super thick. But he doesn’t mind them. And wowww do they stick, I was for sure thinking they would just come right apart but no it’s super strong but not only that, you can manipulate the material however you want to get the perfect fit, and out of the face. You know how velcro swaddles only have a small area to work with and if it doesn’t go together just right..well it just doesn’t work, then you have to redo the whole thing again? Well this isn’t like that. I can’t say enough how amazing that feature is and how much I ended up loving whatever material that is that sticks together like that. And the sack itself is soo soft and stretchy. It reminds me of the bamboo materials or something. Also, it washes nicely.So anyway, I had to quickly search up a sleep sack swaddle because my boy was getting long and out growing his velcro swaddles. I almost got a halo sack then realized how hot it looked and felt. My son sleeps hot and gets damp easily, so that was a no go. I also was wanting to stay away from anything weighted. But on another note.. he was unsettled at night making me think he didn’t like the swaddle anymore so I wanted something that I could go back and forth with as he decided what he liked best. I seen the photo and assumed I could swaddle him with arms out if need be, and I didn’t realize until I just looked back at the photos, that it’s intended for arms in or out. So luckly I picked the right thing! And I’m so happy about that. I’ve went back and forth seeing which he prefers, and to my suprise he loves to be swaddled still at almost 3 months. Lastly, I belive the wrap around his waist, once he transitions out of the swaddle feature, will help him feel swaddles in a way, sort of like a hug. Mimicking the “weighted” sleep sack feel but without being weighted and dangerous.So moral of the story… if youre unsure, just buy it!!

If you are trying to swaddle arms in, good luck. While I appreciate the lack of Velcro (my other sleep swaddles use Velcro and wake baby up if Iâm trying to get in a sneaky diaper change), the flaps donât hold very strongly for very long. My baby quickly learned how to break out. Now if you are swaddling arms out, these are great! Iâm able to transition my boy from my arms to his crib without him waking. Only downside is, the flaps fold onto the back when not being used for the arms, and they collect a lot of lint from bedding so they get dirty fairly quickly. Just something to consider. Very good size though, weâll be able to use them a while, they are super soft, lightweight and breathable, my baby doesnât wake up sweating in them and the patterns are very cute, just as pictured! Love the two way zipper, makes diaper changes a breeze!
