If youâve never had buckleys before, Iâll describe it.Upon pouring it on a spoon, you smell right away its strong menthol scent. The moment it hits your tongue, you’re met with a strong, medicinal bitterness that almost shocks your taste buds and you could feel the menthol sensation down your throat and also in your nostrils, It has a thick, syrupy texture that clings to your throat, intensifying the taste. But despite the intense flavor, it works wonders as you can feel your congestion clearing up, making the unpleasant taste worth it. As they say, “It tastes awful. I got over the awful taste a long time ago. The potency can be felt right away, the mucus appears reduced, and I can function relatively normal despite the illness. Buckley’s is a Canadian treasure.
