Great for kids who need a visual reminder of time
This watch is a sweet little unit. With 2 and 5 mins timers, we often play ârace the timerâ to get jobs done. When the timer is up, the alarm rings until it is shut off.As others noted, the magnet attachment to the charger isnât very strong and has to be sitting just right to charge.Velcroe is a bit weak but seems to be decent enough for a small wrist.
Game changer
Lately my 3 year old son has been dragging his feet and taking too long to complete tasks.The morning preparation for daycare, the night routine for bed ⦠everything! it was very stressful for both of us!With this timer he now responds quickly and efficiently. At first, we were using it as a fun and challenging game for him: getting ready in 2 min or in 5 min.Now, he just got used to it and times himself alone when I say that I think heâs taking too long.The visual cues provided by the timer make a significant difference. It’s remarkable how something so simple can have such a profound impact on managing time and encouraging independence.The watch itself is good enough quality for a toddlerâs toy and its price.Highly recommend it for any parent facing similar challenges!
Wish it was more durable
We really loved this watch, it was super useful in helping our preschooler adjust with transitions, but unfortunately within 2 weeks, the back panel broke off at daycare, exposing the wiring. We aren’t sure how it happened as we weren’t there and teachers weren’t sure, but I am disappointed that for a product meant for preschoolers and toddlers, it’s not a bit tougher and broke so quickly.
