Neck is not adjustable, very hard to fit over dog’s head, digs into chest
Ordered the Small size for a French bulldog whose neck is 15″ and girth 20″ which should’ve been a perfect fit. Unfortunately the neck part is very tight and is neither stretchy nor adjustable – it hurt her ears to get it on and off. Also I noticed when she had it on, the top part was digging into her upper chest area. It’s really a shame because it seems otherwise well made. Can’t understand why they would have designed it this way given that most dogs’ heads are a lot wider than their necks.
Doesn’t fit as stated in measurements
I ordered the large for my 60 pound dog. Her neck is 4 inches smaller than the maximum chest circumference listed here. It’s was still 4 inches too small for her and it’s NOT adjustable. Had to send back.
Love this harness overall!! Super well built, great material. You can tell how strong it is. The chest pad is super padded. The only thing is, if our dog was any bigger it wouldnât fit! Heâs also 72 pounds so slightly over the crash test weight. I wish they made an XL so more dogs could enjoy!! For reference we have a German shepherd / husky mix with a very wide rib cage and thick neck. Thankfully it fits him like a glove with the straps all the way extended. Little snug on his neck because that part doesnât adjust. Love it!!!

Harnais commandé en taille M pour mon Berger des Pyrénées de 14kg avec un tour de poitrail d’environ 62cm.Harnais qui a l’air hyper solide , avec une sangle comme nos ceintures de sécurité. Un peu étonné du poid qu’il fait en revanche . Les parti épaisses sont lourdes et non souple. C’est ma seule réserve qui peut me faire me demander si ça ne va pas gêner mon chien entre les pattes avant lorsqu il sera couché. Mais dans l’ensemble satisfaite . A voir à l utilisation.
This is the third harness I’ve bought. I tried it out with my dog today and I’m quite impressed with it. The previous harnesses I had, one was the RAC one and I was concerned it was a bit cumbersome and heavy for my dog without providing any proper chest support – it didn’t seem to be crash tested; she also got tangled in it a lot. The other one was better but was the type that had the attachment you clip into the seatbelt, which firstly was too short meaning doggo had to lay down; and secondly used to malfunction in the belt clip, either by coming out or, possibly worse, getting stuck so I couldn’t remove it. After the last of these incidents I decided to get something better for her.So on to this harness. At first glance it looks very sturdy and secure with a good padded chest piece. Doggo did not like it being put over her head at all (only way to get it on) but we have the same battle with her walking harness so this isn’t too much of a negative. I was worried the head gap was a bit small and the chest plate a bit high but actually once on her I think it was fine.As other reviewers have said, she did tend to turn sideways in the car once it was strapped in but I was confident she was secure and she managed not to get tangled in it on either journey. She’s a whizz at tangling herself up on seatbelts so this was a plus.I particularly liked that I could just use it as a walking harness once we got out of the car. She went for the walk very happily wearing it. It’s the first car harness that has truly worked for this.One thing I would say is, I bought the small. I have a just under 10kg Parson Russell cross who measures 56cm chest. The small advertises for 50-60cm and up to 15kg. But my dog was right on the top end of it and the straps had to be put on the biggest possible. It made for a secure fit but I almost considered returning it for a medium. I think a 14kg dog with a 60cm chest would most definitely need to size up. My dog should have been in the middle of the sizing range – she’s not a fat dog in any way. So if your dog is near the top of the given measurements I’d size up.All in all, this isn’t perfect but I’m happy I bought it. I think for under £30 it’s a good piece of kit.
