This carseat is a FANTASTIC find. The extended weight limit for the 5 point harness is exactly what I was looking for. My larger child fits very comfortably in the carseat and the harness is beautifully adjustable and accomodating for all shapes and sizes of little ones. This is also the easiest car seat to install BY FAR! No more sweating and wrestling to ensure the seat is secure. I HIGHLY recommend this carseat to every person looking for safety, comfort and ease of use.
So far so good! – impressed!
Pretty impressed with this car seat. Itâs really solid and has a good weight to it. The install went smoothly and we were able to get it snug and barely moving at all. Very happy so far.
Great for tall kids
I needed a new car seat with a 5-point harness for my tall 7 year old autistic son because he outgrew his previous seat and isnât ready for a booster yet. Heâs 48â tall with a long torso, and is 40 lbs. I was able to find 2 seats currently on the market that would give him a couple of inches of shoulder height growth, this being the more expensive of the two. *if youâre in the same boat, donât trust the total height limits on any car seats – you need the shoulder height limit. I made this mistake and bought a Diono Radian which has a higher overall max height, but his shoulders are already too high for the harness so I had to return it. I chose this seat because it looks more like a big kid seat than the other choice I had, and it had good reviews. We are both very happy with this seat. No complaints from him about his position, even on long drives. He says itâs very comfortable. I have a Toyota RAV4 and had no issues with the installation. I would definitely recommend this seat to anyone dealing with the same situation. I think weâll get a couple years out of this seat with the harness and then hopefully heâll be ready to switch it to booster mode.
Favourite seat
Iâve had several different car seats and this is the only one Iâve ever liked. I have 3 of them now. lol The straps are smooth and glide like butter, every other seat Iâve had has had impossible to tighten straps. Great price when it goes on sale, easy enough to install and it has a high height limit. My 5 yo is quite tall and has outgrown our other seats but can still use this one with the 5 point harness with room to grow.
Easy to use, not the easiest to install
We have tested many chicco car seats and this is my favorite toddler seat. The straps are easy to tighten once your toddler is fastened. It was not, however, the simplest to install. It is a bit heavier of a car seat model compared to others.
Fantastic
My toddler really likes this car seat. He can actually reach whatâs in the cup holders while safely buckled in. Also very easy to tighten them in. Overall very happy with this purchase!
Great seat
Very nice looking seat love the comfort for my granddaughter like the cup holder love the fact it reclines when I don’t know if any other boosters that recline yet toddlers always fall asleep in the car!! I’m so happy with the Chicco seat!! Yes it’s a lil more money than others but u get what u pay for remember that! It’s a good solid seat!!
