I ordered the version with the internal rechargeable battery. At first it worked great. It’s super cute and my baby loved the gentle sounds and calming lights. Once the initial charge ran out I went to charge it and the battery status light plugged it in and the battery status light wouldn’t come on. It wouldn’t take a charge even after being plugged in for hours. Tried multiple different charging blocks, cables, outlets, charging with the unit off/on, etc. with no avail.Thinking we got a dude I exchanged for a second one and tried plugging it in straight out of the box. Again the status light never came on and just like the first one it ended up never taking a charge after the initial charge ran out. I wanted so much for this product to work but obviously there is some production flaw. Very disappointing especially given the price. Would not recommend.
