The harness features 5 heights and 3 buckle locations so you can be sure you’re giving the best fit to your growing child. And to fit your growing family (or the neighborhood car pool), the Scenera NEXT easily fits three across in the back seat. If your chosen vehicle happens to be an airplane, the Scenera NEXT has got you covered. Certified for use on aircraft, it gives your child a familiar seat during the flight. The lightweight and compact design also get you through the airport without weighing you down. Once arrived at your destination, the Scenera NEXT is super-easy to install in grandma’s car or your rental car. With kids in the car, messes happen. Perfect for toddlers
I bought this for my nephew visiting us for a couple of months. Been using it for 2 months now and the kids feel pretty comfortable on this. They are happy so we are happy. Nice light weight car seat for travelling and shifting from car to car. Easy to fix once you get a hang of it. Becomes slightly use on everyday usage so just make sure you keep tightening it. Definitely recommended.
Great car seat and amazing customer service
We do not have a car and my daughter just outgrew her infant seat. We wanted something that would be light weight enough to carry around and easy to install in Ubers. This car seat checks every box. I attach it to my daughterâs stroller using a travel belt. Itâs lightweight enough that it doesnât tip over. Itâs also easy enough to install in so many different cars. Itâs super convenient for any family that doesnât own a car but has to occasionally use ride shares. What really sets this company apart is their great customer service. Iâd emailed them asking where I can purchase harness covers and had a few questions regarding the fit. They were to quick to reply and sent me the covers for free. Beverly, the Consumer Care Specialist and CPST, was very polite and helpful. The Cosco is an excellent choice for a travel car seat and we have had no problems so far
Great car seat.
We use this as a second car seat for my husbandâs truck or if anyone is taking my child. Itâs super light and easy to install. The price is amazing as well.
Great for airplane travel
Took this on 10 flights over the course of 2 months and itâs great. Didnât get damaged at all because it is one solid piece of plastic. Weighs barely anything so I can easily carry it in one hand with baby in the carrier on my front. Itâs not the most comfortable car seat so it wouldnât be great for everyday use but as a travel car seat it is 5/5.
Easy assembly and light
Fits my 3 year old granddaughter perfectly with some wiggle room.
Terrible Car Seat
I donât know how this passed federal regulations. My grandson is almost 8 months old and the straps hardly cover his shoulders, I canât believe this is safe for a newborn. Installation is very difficult as the car seat anchor straps donât tighten easily. The car seat harness straps are also impossible to tighten, I have to use all my force to tighten them which causes the car seat to shift off balance. On top of that sometimes the harness straps jam and only one of them will tighten while the other remains loose. The only positive about this car seat is that it is lightweight. But honestly you get what you pay for, every time I harness my grandson in this car seat I pray we donât get into a car accident because I worry heâll fly out of it. Thankfully we only bought this for a trip so we will not be taking it home with us at the end of this.
Hard to tighten
Value for the money was good and it’s sturdy and spacious. Just takes a lot of arm strength to tighten the straps
Awesome
This is amazing. It’s very similar to the Graco infant snugride click connect 30 that I used for my LO before this, but without the handle / sunshade / base. Obviously wider / taller for bigger kids, with similar amount of padding. My 17 month LO always slept fine in the Graco, and I expect he will in this as well. You can recline it as far as the click connect in the infant position, but you can also put it much further upright (in rear-facing position still) if your kiddo doesn’t like the recline. BONUS that I can actually put the passenger side seat ALL THE WAY BACK in my honda civic. Couldn’t do that with the Graco infant snugride – the bulk of that one was lower down so it butted up more against the back of the passenger side seat. The Cosco has a gradual / higher curve that ends right around the headrest, so can push the passenger seat it all the way back :)For those saying install isn’t secure – not true. It installs VERY tight. If it’s not, you haven’t done it correctly. I am 120 lb female with average strength arms. If you can’t pull tight from outside the vehicle, there are videos on youtube that show to get behind the seat in the car (of course, put the passenger seat forward and might be hard for some bigger/taller people) and use body weight to press the carseat into the back seat of the car and also press down in the bottom of the seat with your hand to tighten securely. I did it, it is in there, it will not budge. Very very easy.I also like that the back is re-threadable, rather than the new fangled ones that slide the harness up and down. I tried my LO in graco / britax ones and I felt like all the bulk (especially in the graco ones) from the mechanisms pushed my sons head forward and he looked uncomfortable. Of course, they have much more fancy padding than the cosco, but that’s kind of useless if his head is uncomfortably pushed forward anyway. I only wish there was a leeeetle more padding in the cosco. Unfortanately the LX version of the Cosco that has head pillow and strap padding is not currently sold in Canada :/ But even without, the padding is similar to the Graco infant snugride click connect 30.I haven’t tried any long trips yet, (boo covid) but will update once I have.
