Discoveres some time ago that crib sheets make perfect big dog bed covers – way easier to take off, wash and put back on than any other cover I’ve found. These are the first stretchy once I’ve bought ans they work even better than the others I’ve bought. Tougher too!
I like to cover my dogs’ beds with cotton jersey crib sheets. These are nice, soft covers that help keep my dogs’ beds cleaner and in need of less frequent washings. It’s such a hassle to wash and dry big, bulky, stuffing-filled dog beds. Too many of them do not have removable covers.My dogs get groomed every two months and they get clean blankets to burrow under and clean sheets on their beds every two weeks. I find that the dogs, who roll in stinky stuff whenever they can, and dog beds stay a lot cleaner and less smelly that way.
I donât use these on a cribâ¦I use them on my couch and ottomanâ¦perfect size with the stretching Jersey materialâ¦stays fitted, looks good, washes easily and seems to be holding color (black) after several washesâ¦. with multiple dogs who are part of the fam and welcome on the furnitureâ¦these are the best to pull off wash. I have 2 sets that I rotate.
