Daughter holds on to the cup well, and definitely learned to use a straw. Still donât feel like weâve found THE cup for her yet. She likes being able to tip it upside down to spill water all over her highchair tray. She did drop it and the top easily popped off, thankfully it was just water. But sheâs still more excited to drink from her bottle than from this cup.
This is absolutely great! Fairly durable lid – can withstand 3-5 chucks from the high chair before popping off. Easy for little beginner hands to hold. Soft straw. Absolutely a win. They say babies canât use straw cups until 9 mos or so and I think thatâs hogwash. We do BLW and didnât want to use bottles, so we went straight from breastfeeding to open cup, using the tiny cup from EZ PZ, which I love, but doesnât have a lid or straw or side handles. This cup is twice the size of the tiny cup but is still great for tiny hands. My little is a peewee, 6 mos, and uses this with every meal and in between with breastmilk so Daddy can help. She has no trouble grasping the handles or using the straw. Wish this cup was around when I had my first. Really great design and functionality.
This cup has a great weight to it. My 1 year old loved it. I noticed very early in its use that the straw had a tear in the center. Itâs hard to see because it it silicone but any flex in the straw and it becomes a hole. Very unfortunate. This cup is easy to hold and is a great size.
The silicone sippy cup is perfect for babies to start learning how to suck on the straw. Itâs very lightweight& easy to clean. My son can hold it with both hands no problem and was able to learn pretty quickly. How to suck on it. We purchased several of these.
I have tons of mushie products but I bought this because it was little cheaper and omg I am so happy I did not only did I save a couple of dollars but this is way better than the mushie cup it has a slower system for babies to drink water a slow phase my 6m old baby loves it and hasnât had issues with this like she was having with the other brand! The only downside I will say is that is not very leak proof but then again mushie wasnât either so :/
