Fits in Ikea LACK or MALM
Fits perfect in Ikea LACK bookcase- which is what i needed it for!! not sure about its durability, as it is new, but seems sturdy enough…the fabric covering is a polyester of some type which appears to probably wipe clean well, but may pill. 2 in a set! so worth the $$ and looks great!

Really nice colour and pattern, but not at all sturdy. Used as a box for infant toys and within days the sides were permanently bent. We have the IKEA versions of these which have stood up to years of small children grabbing and bending and they show no wear. This box would work if rarely touched and used to store towels. Donât recommend.

William Morris, a late 19th-century textile designer and artist, had his own “golden rule”: “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” For me, these storage boxes are both. So sturdy! So pretty! And they hold *lots* of stuff!! Before buying these, I had bought a set of six of strong & functional storage boxes that I’m very pleased with–they got my 5-star review, too. I then found that I needed two more boxes for a different shelf unit with slightly larger shelves, but I wasn’t able to find only*two* of the same make & color as the previous set. I looked at various pairs of storage boxes that were less expensive than these, but in the end, I decided that getting something larger and with some glam might be worth the price. I am happy with my decision. They’re the strongest by far of any fabric storage box I have–and I already have some sturdy ones. I did pay more for these, but they’re decorative and of high quality, which for me makes them worth the price. I enjoy seeing them in my workroom!
I really like these storage cubes. I was surprised how well they are made. They aren’t super lightweight. The walls all have an interior board for support and there is a fabric covered piece that goes in the bottom to keep it opened up into a cube. If you aren’t using it, you can easily fold it down and store it almost anywhere. Because it is sturdy, you can put a fair amount of weight in it and not be worried about the bottom giving out.I’m using the 11 inch size to organize a lot of loose items on a book case. They fit perfectly in terms of height and I can fit two per shelf with some room left over for items that I want to display – like books. I really like all the different colors and designs that are available, especially the rust colored options. The lattice design is kind of classy and complements a lot of different designs from classic to contemporary.
Great quality, Pretty, sturdy, and so far so good
This is fun storage at a decent price. They’re well thought out with cutout handles that are less likely to tear when the bins are full, than the cloth handles on the smaller versions. The designs are clean and bright, and look wonderful together, the colors are good (and no, I haven’t had any that were substantially different from what I saw on my monitor, but I know it can happen if your monitor isn’t calibrated properly.) And the best thing, to my way of thinking, is that the 13″ cubes fit perfectly into the Expedit and Kallax units from that Swedish store, bringing some much needed warmth and excitement to what is a good, solid, but not particularly interesting design. I’m replacing some of the not-all-that-nice inserts I got to go with them with these bins, and am very happy with the result.For my money, you can’t go wrong with DII, so long as your expectations are in line with what you pay for the items. These aren’t top-tier items at top-tier prices, they’re sturdy, well-designed ones at prices most of us can afford.
