Great for Air Travel
We bought these specifically for their narrow size for aeroplane travel with our kids (3, 5).They fold nicely and can sit on top of your luggage. We used a small crank tie to attach it to our carryon as it is awkward and a bit heavy to carry on a long walk through an airport terminal.But it fits nicely in aeroplane seats, they are very quick and easy to install in both cars and planes. The pull strap to secure your child is a lot easier to use than other car seats we have used.These are a bit pricey, but are absolutely worth the cost.

Slim design, great car seat
I bought this car seat looking for a slim design that would fit in the backseat of a 1/4 ton truck with a tight backseat. This fits well and is a great size for my 3-year old daughter. Weâve been using it for a couple weeks and after install I have no complaints.Only reason Iâm giving it a 4 is that is was a little tricky to get it tight enough on install. I watched several videos and could not get it tight enough using the latch straps. However using the other option of securing with the seatbelt was easier and is very secure.
Awesome car seat
I bought this car seat as a second to have when we got a second vehicle. However I liked it so much and so did our (rear facing, 21lb, 19 months) daughter that this is now the main car seat, and my husbands truck has the Grace Forever. Not that there is anything wrong with the graco, itâs just she looks so much more comfortable in the Diono. Itâs slim and sleek, fun colour, she sleeps very well in it and her head does not hang uncomfortably like in the graco. There is another Diono model with all the cushions and I went back and forth on this one and that, honestly, this one gets the job done well. Maybe if she was an infant I would purchase the one with all the cushions but there is seriously no need. The memory foam on the buckle straps are perfect for protecting the neck from rubbing and give a really nice cushion without preventing proper tightening.I would say that only downside Iâm seeing is in rear facing, itâs a tall seat and it reclines very well so you may have issues in a smaller car or if the seat has to be behind a tall person. We have a Honda Odyssey and it does prevent the front passenger from having ample leg room or any bit of reclining. But thatâs just temporary! I say go for it!
Best for 3 across car seat configuration
This car set is one of my go-to for multiple children. It installs super seamlessly and is easy to uninstall as well. It fits nicely 3 across in vehicles including my small compact Hyundai Accent. It is a piece of cake to take apart and clean without multiple pieces, snaps, and velcro pieces to try to remember. A bonus is the fact it fits from rear-facing right up to high back boosterâthe most affordable price point too on a compact multi-level car seat.
This is the one you want
I need to have an adult sitting between the baby seats every now and then so I go for narrow car seats. I also have the Graco Tranzitions and a Clek Foonf. The Diono is heavy and strong kind of like the Clek, but narrow and minimalist like the Tranzitions. I would only use this seat rear-facing with the anti-rebound bar.I love the Graco Tranzitions, and my Clek, BUT the former is built out of plastic and the latter is very bulky. The Radian seems to have the best of both worlds, although it’s not as light as the Tranzitions and not as sturdy as a Clek.

We have two of these carseats now and absolutely love them. They are slim and provide a lot of room for both the child using the carseat and the person sitting next to the car seat. I love how these carseats feel open and not so enclosed for the child.The car seat itself is very easy to install correctly and the cover is easily removable and reattachable for easy cleaning. The padding is great and it feels really secure and has great stability. Overall great quality.The only thing I wish that was different, is i wish these came with at least one cup holder. These are the only carseats I love to use for forward facing kids!

We had a Maxi Cosi car seat, this is MUCH slimmer however seems as secure. The straps are more streamline and easy to use as well. This leaves more room between the front row so my 4 year old has more room for her feet. Highly recommend for a three row car.
