Warmer Broke & Bottles Leak
I had this item selected for my baby registry. A relative gifted it and I was so greatful as it was one of the more expensive gifts on the list. I was so looking forward to using the bottles when the baby arrived as I had a lot of troubles with my firstborn and excess gas and reflux. To my disappointment, the bottles have caused more grief than what they are worth, unfortunately. They leak SOO much. It doesn’t matter what we try, tightening, loosening, adjusting parts, changing parts, glass bottles, plastic bottles, tilted up or held straight. The bottles will always leak. Which is so frustrating, as you can imagine, when trying to keep a baby dry and limiting outfit changes simply because a bottle can’t do what it’s supposed to do. We have also had NUMEROUS experiences with the bottles leaking out entire 8oz bottles while in the diaper bag and soaking all other contents of the bag.There are so many parts to the bottles (anti colic relief aside). I’m not knocking the science behind the anti colic parts, I’m just annoyed with the fact that in order to properly seal off a bottle to take with you for your travels, you need to utilize extra parts that take up space in the diaper bag when they are not being used.On top of all of this, the bottle warmer only worked for 2 months and then broke. It wouldn’t warm the bottles any longer. Before this, some bottles came out warm while others came out scalding hot.Overall it has been a terrible experience with these bottles. I’ve tried switching my LO to a different brand but he is used to these now and will not take another. I wish I had went with Tommee Tippie or any other brand for that matter because these have been nothing but torture.
