Sounds good and looks nice.
Excellent noise machine. The sounds included were all generally very good and while we liked some more than others, I found that they all sounded good quality (vs some other sound machines where you feel that you instantly feel like the source file is low-res / the speaker is making it sound tinny). In terms of appearance, I found the design to be quite modern. I’m quite satisfied with this.
Excellent sound machine/alarm clock combo!
Wonderful little device. I’ve had several Dreamegg devices to date and I love all of them. This latest iteration not only looks somehow elegant, but provides the useful addition of alarm clock to the usual soothing sound box.Functions:- sound machine with a variety of sounds (though not as many as some other Dreamegg machines)- light (on, off, pulsing; dimmable)- clock (backlight dimmable via physical wheel at the back; 12h and 24h format)- alarm clock (several noises to choose from)- variable volume for alarm clock- snooze (9 minutes, not sure if adjustable)The controls are relatively intuitive as soon as you learn the pathways it uses. Reading the instructions carefully one time will be enough.If you’ve had a Dreamegg machine before, the biggest learning curve (at least for me) is that the light is no longer in the middle of the machine – that’s now the snooze button. All the buttons have relocated and we must adjust. Overall I adore this little gadget – helps me sleep through noisy late-night upstairs neighbours, and know what time it is when it’s pitch black at 3am, without using my phone or being otherwise blinded by light. Absolutely recommend – especially if you can snag this on sale.
Great sounds options to wake up to!
This alarm clock / alarm machine has intuitive controls for setting the time and the sound functions. I like the minimalist look, and the infinite dimmable display is super good, although I would prefer if the numbers were to be a bit bigger. I appreciate the CR2032 battery that is solely used to recover time after a power outage. The other great thing is that the alarm wakes you up to very nice sounds – 6 options: birds, ocean waves, bells, regular beep, river, melody. It also turns the light on – which I am not sure if it can be adjusted with the alarm or not. I wish I could run it as a Bluetooth speaker
Easy to use.
Love this white noise sound machine, it has 29 different sounds settings to help block out external noises.We have a small dog that likes to wake up around 4am. She sleeps in her crate in a separate room so when she wakes up she likes to bark. With this sound machine and our doors closed we donât hear her at all.I also like the big display that not only shows the time but the sound setting that you prefer.I had a similar one before but that one would loose itâs memory every so often, then youâd have to scroll through all the sounds to find the correct one, kind of a pain. This one has given me no problems at all. Dimmable and volume adjustable this sound machine has all the features you need. Ideal as a gift or for background noise this is a great device at a decent price.
It’s like an echo without echo and makes you sleepy
I did not need to use the manual. There are a lot of buttons on this machine, take time to play with them. Some require longer presses to activate different states.Setting up the clock as well as alarm was really straightforward. The LED that displays through the mesh is also very clear. The sound quality of the white noise is decent, nothing special but more than enough for me to fall asleep.

Good white noise machine and clock.
I ordered this for our 11 year old who likes having white noise from fans in her room at night, needed a clock and an occasional night light to replace older childish ones. She loves this. It looks really nice and grown up. The unit would look nice in any bedroom or even on an office shelf. The clock is easy to read but the brightness can be adjusted to a suitable brightness level. There is a variety of noises based on nature and white noise. The white noise options have different frequencies so we were able to find one she liked. She also likes the thunder one.My only disappointment is the power cord. It plugs into a USB-A adapter but the connector on the speaker is an old round style (proprietary?). Itâs also a little short. It would have been nice if they had used USB on both ends, especially USB-C. That way I could use a longer cable if necessary.I think this is a really nice clock to put in anyone’s bedroom and if you like white noise to sleep to.
White noise only on timer
I used to have an alarm and a separate noise machine but this has both in one, it’s small and compact and looks really sharp with any decor. But, you can your white noise for 30-60-90 minutes, however some people need the white noise all night long and will wake up as soon as it stops. Therefore this would not work for those people. If you only need it to fall asleep then it is fine.
I was very keen to get an alarm clock which enabled me to turn the clock numbers completely off during the night. I don’t want to see the time when I’m trying to sleep. I wanted zero light emitted.This clock does that perfectly. A small dial on the back enables the clock to be dimmed to 0% (no light at all). Easy to adjust in the night if needed.
It’s a great invention and I love it. Saves me streaming the noise on my phone. It has a timer and lots of choices for sleep sounds. Only about 3 rain sounds tho unfortunately.
Love this alarm clock and all its features
The white noise sounds are horrible compared to using a phone or Bluetooth speaker. The rain in particular is indistinguishable from static. Not worth the money.
Set this up for my dog so he has some white noise and I love it it – the clock, the night light can be dimmed, on, or âbreathing,â there are about 30 sounds to choose from and the speaker is great quality. Very happy with it.
