Great little white noise machine
VERY happy with our Dreamegg white noise machine. It turned out to be smaller than I expected, which is a good thing ! It’s small, compact, light, and very easy to carry on the go.We needed one for our nursery and it’s minimalist design also blends in perfectly with our room aesthetics.The functions are very straightforward to use and do its job perfectly :I love how it’s a white noise machine and night light (and baby soother, lullabies, and ambient light) all combined into one.You can adjust the brightness of the night light so it’s comfortable for the eye and not bright enough to wake the baby during night feeds. You can also change color for the ambient light but we don’t use that.You can set timers (or use it continuously) for the white noise machine and adjust volume levels. There are so many white noises you can choose from. We typically use the fan noise because our baby is used to having an aircon as his white noise in the Summer. Now that the aircon is gone, this white noise machine replaces its sound seamlessly.I know there are apps you can pay for continuous white noise. But it’s so inconvenient because you’d have to leave a spare phone in the nursery for that purpose. Our baby monitor has a white noise function as well, but while that’s turned on, it will not receive crying alerts. So all these methods weren’t ideal until we found this dream egg machine ! Super satisfied.Other sleep /soothing sounds include pink noise, brown noise, fan noise and nature sounds, and even a “shhhhh shhhhh” soothing sounds that we find so handy for on the go naps.Another thing I love about this is that it’s buttons don’t light up, so nothing is distracting for the baby. But it has bumps so you can feel where the button is when it’s completely dark in the nursery.Overall a very satisfying product and I highly recommend it to any parent that needs a white noise solution.
The light is dimmable, and the sound fades out on timer
This has everything we were looking for. We were recommended the hatch but I did not want WIFI in my baby’s room and there’s no reason to have a dang sound machine hooked to the internet ð. This little sound machine is everything we were looking for! The lights are dimmable, the sound fades out instead of abruptly stopping when the timer ran out(waking our baby) and it also can run continuously. Our old portable sound machine we had to go into baby’s room every 60 minutes to restart it or he’d wake up.It’s rechargeable, there are tons of sound settings, different light colors and the timer settings go up to 90 min. The quality is very good, it doesn’t feel like cheap plastic junk from China.We have been using it nightly for a few weeks now and I’ve just had to recharge the battery once so far.Great device.
Wonderful
I went by the reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. Really like it! It’s relatively small and compact but has so many features from different colors and light intensities to the various melodies/noises. I also love that it charges with a USB cable and doesn’t require batteries and holds the charge for a significant amount of time.Definitely worth it! Once I won’t be using it for my baby, I’ll be using it myself!
Best sound machine
This is the best sound machine. We also have a brand name machine and use this one instead. Love the sound options and especially the lullaby music. The light is a nice feature on this particular model – it’s a perfect soft light for night time. The small size is also great and the battery lasts a surprisingly long time before needing to be charged. Would highly recommend.
Cute but could use a light design upgrade
It is a cute light and functional sound machine. We already have another dreamegg sound machine which works fantastic (compared to vtech monkey one we had before in terms of the sound, volume and battery life) so to have the same sound, we wanted to buy another one of their products for baby #2. Overall, we are happy with this little light/sound machine but here are the little things that could improve:Suggestion 1: when you adjust the light, it has to go all the way to the brightest before it decreases to a lower intensity setting which is kind of annoying. We have another egg shaped night light that when you long press, light intensity increases but if you tap a second time and then long press, light intensity decreases so you donât always have to go to the brightest setting before it dims.Suggestion 2: a lock button to prevent accidentally turning on during travel.Suggestion 3: this may be a long stretch – a charging station where you can easily lift the light and move it around without removing the charging cord.Suggestion 4: an option to turn off the charging light so my nursery can be completely dark.
Perfect and portable!
This sound machine is perfect for our little one! We love that it has a built in light which can be colourful, dimmed or bright! It also has so many sound options that we canât wait to explore! One of our favourite features is that it is actually loud and is small in size. The small size makes its absolutely perfect for travelling! You also canât be the price for the great quality! Best all in one night light sound machine
This is the best one to have around the house and for traveling. It’s dimmable which is great for night feeds and a strap for traveling around with it. The rainbow feature is a hit when baby is awake and I need to distract them.
Great little machine, nice level of light for middle of the night nappy changes/feeds without being too bright.White noise seems to help all of us as well as the baby get a good night’s sleep. Has a good selection of sounds however we just tend to use the general fan sound. Battery life does a full night of noise, would prob stretch a bit further but we don’t want to risk it dying in the middle of the night. Simple to use and compact so easy to take for nights away from home as well.

Good range of colours and sounds.Ideally plug it in if you want to use it all night with light and white noise. I found the battery lasts approx 5 hours otherwise.Handy tips: red light is best for baby sleeping, either of the purple lights are best for changing a nappy in the middle of the night – baby poop reacts well to the purple and shines out bright red against the skin, so itâs even easier to see and clean than during daylight! ( just be warned the bright red in the nappy can be a bit shocking the first time you see it )100% recommend this product for parents and kids.
Love this sound machine. Itâs very small but it includes everything you need including a light and range of sounds. It also doesnât require wifi or Bluetooth and the sounds are integrated into the machine. We initially bought the Hatch, but that required wifi, connection to a PowerPoint and it required an app. The Hatch also didnât play any free sounds for us so we were required to pay for the sounds. Don’t buy the Hatch, buy this machine instead!!
Great little thing, have used it for about 6 months with no issues. Doesnât come with plug but standard usb phone charger plug works. Battery life is good if you arenât using much light time, and itâs small so good for travelling or out with the pram. Highly recommend!
