Had issues at first but amazing customer service
My child is obsessed with this but I HATE the trucks. We got it two days ago and Iâve had to replace the battery TWICE already!! And theyâre dying again. This is super disappointing honestly because my daughter is ASD and itâs so hard to find toys she likes. And she loves this one but they keep dying and I canât keep replacing the battery. Considering returning it because itâs incredibly frustrating for me :/UPDATED: the company reaches out to me and sent me a brand new track and I got to keep the other one. Thatâs amazing customer service.
Good toys but didnât design properly
The coconut trees are a bit low, and it will block the cars. The power of cars were just ok to run on flat surfaces. When climbing onto the bridge, it is a bit difficult for the little cars to go up.
Dinosaur Track
The EagleStone Dinosaur Race Track Set is a big hit with my grandson! This set includes two electric cars with colour-changing headlights, making playtime even more exciting. Just keep in mind that there are no instructions included but the tracks are easy to assemble; you just click each end together and you are ready to go.What’s impressive is that each car is powered by a single AA battery, which makes the cars move and turn on the headlights. It adds a whole new level of fun to the racing experience. It includes two dinosaurs and different accessories, which offer lots of entertainment. My grandson loves creating different track layouts, it’s a fantastic gift option for kids who love dinosaurs and cars.
ã° Fun For the Little Ones ã° Maybe Less Fun For the Parents ã°
I bought this Dinosaur-themed race track back in August 2021, for my (then) 4-year-old son. This set came with 2 dinosaurs, 2 electric cars, 4 trees, 1 bridge, a dinosaur ”head tunnel”, a swinging-style-door, and 160 pieces of tracks.Each car is powered by a single AA battery which makes the back wheels turn and makes the 2 front headlights alternate colors from red to blue. The flexible tracks are relatively easy to setup : you just click the ends together. It is worth mentioning that at first, my son did need assistance to install the tracks on the bridge and slopes though, as it required finer motor skills.The track size and shape can be customized, with twists and turns. You can also create ”your own slopes” by sliding a small object underneath the track (my son likes to use mini stuffed animals for this part). We have had this set for a while now, and my son has played with it extensively, and to this day, he still loves playing with it.~~~~~~~~ Why I rated it 3 stars ~~~~~~~~- The batteries do not last long in these 2 cars. We exclusively use alkaline batteries and after 15-20 minutes (depending on the battery brands) of playtime, the cars simply don’t have enough power / speed to go over the bridge slopes, so we have to put new batteries in relatively often, especially for longer playtimes. ã° To solve this, maybe the car design should be modified to accommodate 2 AA batteries instead of just 1 ?- The track pieces don’t have enough of a sturdy hold when clicked together. If you want to switch the assembled tracks from the kitchen table to the floor for instance, more often than not, the track pieces unclip and you’re left with a few pieces of broken tracks. This is especially true for the tracks that are on the bridge and slopes. So, rebuilding / re-clipping a part of the track is often needed when trying to move the track to a different area in the house.- The bridge ”legs” are simply too loose when assembled and they, therefore, slide-out and fall off the bridge upper structure very easily if you lift the track. To solve this, I actually ”hot-glued” them to the bridge base to prevent that from happening and although it’s an eyesore, it has worked well to fix the collapsing bridge issue.~~~~~~~~ Final Thoughts ~~~~~~~~I would say that this has been an ”ok” purchase for the most part, as my son has played with this countless times. Would recommend if you want an inexpensive toy, but I would definitely suggest to stock up on AA batteries for longer playtimes.

Very bad
This product is an absolute trash. The tracks are still decent and not hard to assemble (though including a manual would have been helpful), but the vehicles are a complete letdown. A brand-new Energizer battery lasts no more than 3-4 minutes of play and doesnât even generate enough power for the vehicles to climb hills at times. Total waste of money – youâd need 20 batteries just to get through one day of play. Returning it immediately. It completely spoiled Christmas for my child.
Disappointing
Very cheap thin plastic,I was excited for my son to get this. He opened it today as an early Christmas gift and I was disappointed with the quality of the material. It reminds me of something I would buy from the dollar store. The way the rails attach had a peice broken when I took it out of the box.I would look for a better quality.

4/2023 – So this was fun. My son was able to attach these tracks to his other brand of tracks just like this, so that’s always nice. He LOVED the dino attachment that the car could go through. Unfortunately, that part didn’t even last more than two plays and it was broken. Because it didn’t affect the actual overall track, it wasn’t a huge deal, however my son was pretty disappointed.Overall, you get what you pay for. It is nice for the price, but definitely doesn’t hold up to older toddler play.3 STARSUPDATE: 6/13/23 – The seller was awesome and sent us a whole new set at no cost to replace the broken piece. I am very grateful for that. Their customer service is awesome and for that, I’m now giving 5 STARS for that alone.
Love these. I bought two for them to put together and make a large track- theyâre easy to put together (although the bridge portion does fall apart and breaks easily,) and my 3 and 5 year olds enjoy them. The cars do burn through batteries easily though, we use about a battery a day for each car, and if they forget to turn the little cars off and leave them running against the wall or something else, the motor will burn out and it will stop working. I absolutely recommend these tracks though- I love that theyâre easy to put together and take apart, because that means theyâre put away quickly and set up- and theyâre easy for the little ones that just want to watch them go.
We gave this as a Christmas gift to our 3-year-old nephew. He loves it but I could see a couple of issues just from the short time I was over there. The bridge has a bit of trouble staying up, but maybe that could be fixed with some extra supports like zip strips or something. One of the cars was faster than the other which kept causing problems and would make the other car go off the track. Maybe it needed new batteries from the get-go, not sure. For what it is though, it is fun and he sure enjoys watching the cars go around and around. Easy enough to set up. The tracks snap together and snap apart in big chunks so it’s quick to put away. It’s pretty compact once taken apart so it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I would recommend this for the price.
Fun toy that has lots of opportunities to change it up because the tracks can be connected interchangeably. The Jeepâs are fast and rugged with an easy to use on and off switch underneath. The flashing headlights are great for nighttime or trying to find the cars. The bridge can be adjusted and really look like itâs off roading.
At first I thought it was pretty nice. But as the kids played with it I realized the track is hard to piece together as it kept clicking out of place, the plastic it’s made out of is cheap and cracked easily, the track to get into the bridge is hard especially for a kid- it has to be placed just right or it’ll break apart when the car goes over it.
