I got these for my 3 year old granddaughter and they fit her pretty much true to size, although a little long on her. She grows so fast that I never worry about clothing being a little big. The material is soft and stretchy and thicker than a regular knit. The patch was a complete surprise as it’s almost like a crocheted smiley face and is sewn on, not just tacked. I’m not sure how well the patches will hold up to active little knees, but they are sewn on solid and are super cute.
