Perfect alternative to play-doh!
My daughter loves play-doh and I like to bring it when we go out (to a restaurant, on a plane etc) to keep her entertained. But it can be messy and stick to things. The playfoam is perfect. She can mold it, squish it, use her imagination with it – it keeps her entertained and the colours are so much fun!
They are fun and vibrant delightful colours!
Really love these! They arenât as squishy and malleable like playdoh but they are still fun to squish and make structures. I use playdoh accessories with my 18 month old toddler. You can make it work. Definitely need to keep an eye on the toddler since she is very tempted to taste it. They are slightly sparkly but donât get on the hands or on things. I would advise it for older kids, as mentioned on the packaging. I was more curious about it lol than my toddler. Anyway, I personally feel $16 (on sale) is good value not so much for $20. Enjoy!
Torn
I’m torn on this product. I got it for my daughter (age 4). She generally enjoys it and plays with it for a fair amount of time (maybe an hour a day), though she will play with play-doh much longer. I assumed this would be a mess free product but it’s not. Some of the tiny little foam balls fall off and get stuck on everything and if the kid squishes it onto a table, it will leave a sticky residue (which is more difficult to get off on some surfaces than others). I appreciate that it doesn’t dry out and is something “different” but it’s performance is not as versatile as something like play-doh (though that has it’s own set of down sides).I don’t think it’s a waste of money, but I don’t think I would recommend it, nor would I consider a repeat purchase. I predict the novelty will wear off in the next week and it will be collecting dust.
Packaging destroyed – completely dried out
I received this item with the plastic pulling off. It looked like it had been previously opened. The playfoam is entirely dried out an unusable.Apparently it’s not eligible for return either. Complete waste of money
Fun but Messy
This would be great for older kids but perhaps i shouldnât have bought it for my 3 year old. Itâs very hard to clean up when they scatter it all over the floor, in their hair, on their clothes etc. Itâs fun though so itâs worth it.

Hours of play
This pack is wonderful as it has so many colours. Squishy form is perfect way to keep little ones busy for hours.It doesnât stick to clothes or make a big mess.
Great non-messy sensory toy
My six year old loved playing with this foam. It does end up getting mixed all together, but you can still see individual colours (rather than it all just turning a mucky brown like with playdough). I also like that it doesn’t end up stuck to furniture, or mashed into the carpet, and it doesn’t dry out if it is accidentally left out.
I let these be prizes in my elementary school classroom and the kids go crazy for it! It’s less of a mess than other toys like this and it’s really quiet, which is amazing for a quiet classroom prize 🙂
