really loved this sleep sack, past tense bc she grew out of it really quick. wouldâve given 4 stars but thereâs a few issues that could use improvement imo. first is the neckline, itâs a bit shallow/small & similarly with the arm holes. secondly, tying in with the first is that the material is NOT stretchy, like at all & it also shrinks in the wash (i know itâs 100% cotton but it shrunk a lot more than i was expecting, even with following wash instructions). i did love the feel of the material it is soft & the thickness is perfect it kept my baby at a good temperature. but for the price you can find something even better, thatâs softer, just as warm, stretchy & with larger arm & neck holes. oh & i also didnât care for the zipper, itâs a single & has the connector at the top. overall it is good quality & looked good on my baby but just wasnât everything i was wanting/looking for. some pics show comparison with my new favorite sleep sack (the purple one is the favorite) for her. yes the purple is technically a larger size than the elyâs but the measurements are very similar.
I was hesitant to get this since we haven’t used a sleep sack with our baby since around 5 months and she is now 17 months. She always gets too sweaty in fleece (even in the winter), so I thought a lightweight sleeper with a sleep sack might work better, and be easier to just take off in the middle of the night if she was too hot. This has been working great – she hasn’t been getting so sweaty and she seems really cozy and comfortable. She gets excited about putting it on as part of bedtime. I love the feel of it – it reminds me of my favorite throw blanket that I bought years ago and have never been able to find anything like. It’s got a nice quilted layer and feels plushy without being too thick. I got the 12-18 month size and it has some room for her to grow into.
We love this sleeping sack. It has a little weight to it, and the material feels great. We havenât tried it with our little one yet, but I think it will be perfect!
I like the weight and color of the sleep slack, it is such a pretty, soft shade of pink, but I was not overly impressed with the quality. The fabric is not as soft as other brands and the zipper feels a bit lightweight and cheap. My granddaughter will definitely use this, but it won’t be the first one we pick out of the drawer.
Itâs hard to find a good quality, cute, and moderately priced winter sleepsack. This checks all the boxes. The pink is such a sweet color and the thickness is perfect for these cold winter months. My babe looks so cozy in it, and my toddler is jealous – she asked why she didnât have one too! This may seem spendy at first glance but when you compare the TOG to others that are cheaper, you can see why. This is substantial and full (per the TOG rating), not a thin little sack. After a few uses and washes, I definitely think the price is right. We have a few other products from this brand, and although I canât speak to durability of this specific item, the brand has proven durable with my baby.ETA: the zipper! Itâs thick and sturdy. The last couple nights my baby has been teething so itâs been a lot of up all night diaper changes. The zipper goes from top to bottom which is such a dream, because then I donât have to unzip it all the way to get her legs out. Thereâs a good cloth covering at the top where the zipper meets. A lot of sleep sacks I have go bottom to top (must unzip all the way to change baby) OR donât have a good cover at the top so baby gets irritated.
