Takes a little longer to install
This is a car seat for small or medium size dogs. It looks like a playpen for dogs. Don’t be misled by the description, it is not for large dogs.I like this dog car seat only takes up 2 seats space at the back. Work like those 60/40 split back seat. Someone can side beside the dog and takes care of the dog during the trip.The installation instruction of this car seat is not clear. I can see one of the videos also made a mistake during installation. So you can see how confusing it is. It will take some time to install this car seat. Not something easily pop up, set and go type of tool. I find the best way to set it up is to preinstall the car seat outside of the car first. You will need some space. Insert all the boards and rods, zip up, and make it looks like a playpen first. Then put it inside the car, install the anchor and strips. That will be the quickest and easiest way.I don’t like the way the zippers are done, separated from 2 sides. I need to join them together, like zipping up my jacket. But to my surprise, the zippers are very smooth. Once I join them together, the zipping is perfect. So even though I don’t like the design, but the zippers themselves are 2 thumbs up.The anchor is too long. After I insert it to the gap of the seat, even after I insert it very deep, there is still at least an inch gap left. Too long. But I like the hidden velcro hole. I can open it for seat belt if need.I don’t like the headrest support straps join. It use the wrong type. So small, hard to hook it up. I rather they use a clip on, which I can click it on easily. This one, I need to pull open the hook, which is a little hard to do with a small hook when working inside the car.At last, I like the carrying bag. Even though this car seat takes time to install and fold it away, the bag is a good add-on to store or carry it.Overall, there are half good and half bad with this dog card seat. But I think there are more good then bad. So I would give it 3.5 stars.

Zippers are inside out and makes it hard for a bigger dog
The zippers are at the top and on the inside of the box. Which makes letting the dog in and out a pain. Especially, if you have a bigger dog whoâs not so keen on jumping all the way in. You have to kind of unclip the clips and place the dog inside the âboxâ.and then clip them back in.Quality of the fabric looks similar to other dog car covers Iâve seen in the past.If the zippers were on the outside and it created a flap to let your dog in and out easily it would be perfectThe concept is good but the execution is a fail for us and our golden.

It’s Small
We found this too small for our 50lb dog. It’s just over 2 feet (28 inches) wide and just under 2 feet (22 inches) deep, which is a pretty small 4 square feet foot print for a dog to lay. If all your dog does is lay in the back seat and not move, sure, this will probably work if your dog is small enough. But if they like to look out the windows or move around, then this probably isn’t the one for you or your furry friend.The material is pretty tough and it includes straps to loop around the front head rest and the rear head rest, but again, if you are a short driver and have your seat far forward, it’s not easy to make that distance between head rests.But my biggest pet peeve was the assembly. While it wasn’t “hard”, it was incredibly unintuitive. Zippers zip together inside out and the rigid boards make you wonder if you are doing it correctly. Very odd design.
The zippers broke
I like the size I like the stability but the zippers were small and plastic and once I got it put together put my puppy inside the very first time the zipper split before I even got out of my driveway. The design is good. The size is great, but the zippers will never stand up especially he would like to grow.

Amazing it’s so perfect in every way . I have tried and looked at MANY and this is the only one that my 90lb bernedoodle loves and fits her. I even adapted it for the front seat as she is my service dog.
This item is flimsy. My 4 month old Australian Shepherd tore through it. Zippers is a pain to deal with. Iâm looking to buy something more sturdy
I agree that this is not as sturdy as it should be. The straps to hold the seat in place that go over the head rests are difficult to adjust and keep taught. The sides do not hold up well either. My dog likes to have his head leaning on the sides. One car ride and the sides are down. There is also no way to strap him in securely. I had to purchase a separate item to keep him in there. Overall. Not bad but not great either. The zippers on the sides already broke. The search continues.
